Islam Is Mercy and a Lifeline for Humanity from the Blaze of Capitalism and its Evils
(Translated)

Allah (swt) sent our master Muhammad (saw) with the message of Islam as a mercy to the worlds:

]وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ [“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” [Al-Anbiya: 107].

This message is to bring people out from darkness into light, to bring about a change in the life of humanity and to present to it the solutions and treatments for what it faces of problems, and to achieve for it, through the rulings of Islam and its legislations, justice and security and a dignified life. The Companion Rabi‘i ibn ‘Amir, may Allah be pleased with him, summarized that in his speech with Rustum in concise comprehensive words when he said: “Allah has sent us to bring the servants out from the worship of the servants to the worship of the Lord of the servants, and from the injustice of religions to the justice of Islam, and from the narrowness of this world to the vastness of this world and the Hereafter. So, whoever accepts that from us, we accept it from him, and if he does not accept, we accept from him the jizyah, and if he refuses, we fight him until we attain victory.”

If we look at the condition of the society in which the Messenger of Allah (saw) was sent, we see that it was a society of ignorance; its people associated partners with Allah and worshipped idols and statues which they carved with their hands from wood and stone, rather even from dates, and they buried daughters alive, gave short measure and weight, dealt with usury, and fornication and immoralities spread among them, and the strong among them devoured the weak, and tribalism and clannishness and sectarian cries spread among them. They shed their blood with their own hands, and they fought among themselves not for anything of significance but for hateful tribalism, where they fought, for example, forty years over a she-camel, and the “civilized” among them fought in many instances for an interest that concerned the major states at that time. The Lakhmids in Iraq were subordinate to the Persians, and the Ghassanids in Ash-sham were subordinate to the Romans. So, if the Romans were angered by the Persians or the Persians by the Romans, the Ghassanids and the Lakhmids fought. Thus, they were fragmented; nothing united them, and nothing prevented them from many of the enormities.

The Messenger of Allah (saw), through the Aqeedah of Islam and its rulings, was able to bring about in their lives a qualitative transformation in a few years at the individual level and at the collective level. Ja‘far ibn Abi Talib says in his answer to the question of the Negus, “What is this religion?”: “We were a people of ignorance; we worshipped idols, and we ate carrion, and we committed immoralities, and we severed ties of kinship, and we were bad to neighbors; the strong among us would eat the weak. We were upon that until Allah, Mighty and Majestic, sent to us a Prophet and Messenger from among us; we know his lineage and his truthfulness and his trustworthiness and his chastity. So, he called us to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, to single Him out and worship Him, and to abandon what we and our fathers used to worship besides Him of stones and idols. And he commanded us with truthfulness in speech, and fulfilling the trust, and maintaining ties of kinship, and good neighbourliness, and refraining from prohibitions and bloodshed. And he forbade us from immoralities, and false speech, and consuming the wealth of the orphan, and slandering chaste women. And he commanded us to worship Allah and not associate anything with Him. And he commanded us with prayer and zakah and fasting and pilgrimage for whoever is able to find a way to it. So, we believed him, and we had faith in him, and we followed him upon what he brought. So, we worshipped Allah alone and did not associate anything with Him, and we made unlawful what he made unlawful for us, and we made lawful what he made lawful for us.” Islam transferred the Arabs from shepherds of sheep to leaders of nations, and made them people of a cause and carriers of a message of goodness and justice to the world, bearing for its sake harm and torture.

The effect of the call of Islam was not limited to the Arabs or to the Arabian Peninsula only. The call of Islam is a universal call, and Allah (swt) sent His Messenger (saw) with this call to all people. Our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, says:[وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا كَافَّةً لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِيراً وَنَذِيراً  [“And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.” [Saba: 28].

Islam spread and people entered into it in multitudes from different races, ethnicities and colors. Then, by his establishment  of the Islamic State in Madinah, the rulings of Islam were applied practically in the reality of life, and the Muslims and the non-Muslims from the subjects of the state lived under it a dignified life, and the earth shone with the light of its Lord, and the two mightiest empires at that time, Persia and Rome, were defeated. The Muslims continued in conquests and spreading Islam until they changed the face of history, and the matter remained like that until the abolition of the Khilafah (Caliphate) State.

Then after the Khilafah State was abolished and the rulings of Islam were no longer applied in the reality of life, oppression returned to overshadow the entire world, and all humanity, not only the Muslims, returned to live a life of hardship and misery under the capitalist system and its corrupting civilization, which separates religion from life and is based upon colonialism and sucking the blood of peoples and stealing their wealth and leaving them suffering poverty and hunger and disease; a principle that makes profit and material the highest value above anything, and everything under it has become subject to sale and purchase, even the human being whom Allah honored and legislated rulings that preserve for him his life and his wealth and his honor, and guaranteed the implementation of that through the state which may mobilize an army if a Muslim is attacked. Politics in Islam is care of affairs, and the State of Islam is a state of care and not a state of taxation as are the capitalist states and their followers from the rulers in our lands, who take the chairs as a means for plunder and looting and stealing the sustenance of the people, not to mention that they do not remain upon them except if they implement the interests and projects of their colonial masters, foremost among them America. In the social aspect, there has occurred corruption and moral degeneration where Western civilization has unleashed the individual to satisfy his instincts however he wishes, so forbidden relationships have spread, and homosexuality has been legalized, and violation of innate nature has become a freedom that must be respected. Perhaps what leaked of documents and information and testimonies about the Epstein island summarizes the corruption of Western civilization and the misery of humanity under it. The world is ruled by degenerate scum, and Western civilization and its freedoms have brought destruction to its people before others.

Humanity today is in need of one who rescues it from the capitalist civilization, in need of one who frees it from colonialism and the law of the jungle, in need of one who provides for it security and a dignified life. None but Islam and its rulings is capable of that, and none but the Khilafah State which will apply these rulings practically in the reality of life is capable of taking humanity to the shore of safety.

Therefore, the duty upon the Muslims is to undertake their role in carrying the message of Islam and to work seriously to establish the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, which will free the world from the evils of capitalism and the hardship and misery under it. There is no opportunity greater than the month of Ramadan to sharpen determination, renew the covenant with Allah, and work upon applying His Law, and making His Book which was revealed in this noble month a place of application, a constitution and a way of life for the Muslims and a lifeline for all people.
