Announcing a False Victory to Climb Down from the Tree

On March 24, 2026, US President Trump declared that “this war has been won” and “They can’t do a thing about it ... they’re totally defeated. We killed their Navy in three days, done... They’re wiped out, militarily they’re dead” indicating Iran’s desire for a deal. However in a statement on 9 March, Trump also said, “I think the war is very complete, pretty much... If you look, they have nothing left. There’s nothing left in a military sense,” claiming the destruction of 58 Iranian naval vessels and their air force. In his televised press conference on 24 March 2026, Trump stated, “Look, their navy’s gone, their air force is gone, their communications are gone ... all of the anti-aircraft is gone. Most of their missiles are gone ... We are roaming free over Tehran... We can do whatever we want... And, uh, as you know, today we were going to have the privilege of shooting down a very big electric generation plant, one of the biggest in the world... and we held off based on the fact that we are negotiating... it all starts with they cannot have a nuclear weapon... they’ve agreed they will never have a nuclear weapon.” (Aljazeera)

Comment:

How did Trump say so? Iran has closed the vital maritime route through the Strait of Hormuz, creating a global energy crisis, and the United States is unable to force Iran to open it, or convince any oil tanker to pass through the strait even with assurances. Settlers in the occupying Jewish entity sleep and wake in shelters for fear of Iranian ballistic missiles. Several American military bases in the region have been rendered inoperable, such as the Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain. It has become clear to all observers that America has failed to achieve its goals in its war on Iran, and has suffered heavy losses, along with its protégé, the Jewish entity, and the agent states that host military bases from which to launch attacks on Iran. Yet, at this time and under these circumstances, Trump found no one to bring him down from the tree he and Netanyahu had climbed. So, Trump had no choice but to climb down alone by falsely claiming and unilaterally declaring victory over Iran. The claim that Iranian leaders want to make a deal with him at any cost is false.

The undeniable truth is that America and the Jewish entity have been defeated in the war with Iran, despite the heavy losses Iran has suffered among its leaders and in its military and civilian infrastructure. This is because Iranian leaders are fighting an existential battle for survival, having been given only one option by America: death. Thus, no matter what losses Iran suffers in lives, equipment, and infrastructure, it is inconceivable that Iranian leaders would surrender.

The Iranian leaders must not accept a return to the negotiating table with the cunning and treacherous America, which will only achieve true victory over Iran by drawing it into negotiations—a victory it failed to achieve militarily. America will continue to lie in wait for the country until it betrays it a third time. Therefore, extreme caution must be exercised in opening any channel of communication with it or trusting its agents and allies as intermediaries. Will this advice find receptive ears in the land of Imam Muslim, Bukhari, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi?
