Forty-first Year, Rabi’ II 1448 AH corresponding to September 2026 CE

US President Trump did not shy away from declaring his country’s success in seizing over 65 billion barrels of Venezuela’s oil reserves. Boasting, Trump posted on Truth Social on 29 August 2026 that, “At my direction, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, working closely with Highly Respected Interim President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, and, through a partnership with private business, have secured majority U.S. control of more than 65 BILLION BARRELS of proven Oil Reserves in Venezuela, at no cost to the American Taxpayer.”

In doing so, he bears witness that his state is a colonialist power—one that never truly cared for the slogans it propagated through lies and deception, such as freedom, independence, the right to self-determination, and human rights. He confirms that these slogans were merely a smokescreen and a pretext to colonize nations and bleed humanity dry for the benefit of the financial barons and capitalist tycoons of colonialist America.

Indeed, this is the true nature of America and the lands of kufr (disbelief): colonialists who delight in plundering peoples and looting their wealth. Venezuela stands as a living example; furthermore, ever since assuming power, Trump has repeatedly voiced his desire to control Panama, Greenland, Canada, Cuba, the Strait of Hormuz, Gaza, and Ukraine’s resources—and the list goes on. Thus, the entire world is in dire need of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate)—a state that restores justice and mercy to all peoples and puts an end to the reign of colonialists, the arrogant, and tyrants like Trump. Islam elevates the status of people, leading them out of darkness, poverty, and hardship into light, mercy, and prosperity—a fact attested to by Muslim history and the legacy of the Islamic State. It was Islam that established equality between the fair-skinned and the dark-skinned, the Arab and the non-Arab, the poor and the wealthy; whenever its state conquered a land, it incorporated it through care, service, and justice—not through plunder, colonialism, or exploitation—thereby fulfilling the Words of Allah (swt) Who said,

﴿وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ﴾

“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” [TMQ Surah Al-Anbiyyaa’: 107].

How desperately the world needs the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood; for it is the hope of peoples and the salvation of the oppressed.
