News Right Now: Toward Starvation

We are over one week past the first anniversary of the beginning of the Zionist entity’s genocide. Over 365 days of the streets of Palestine running red. The rubble from the destruction of Gaza's infrastructure is stained with the betrayal of our Ummah’s leaders, and the rising death toll from this genocide stands witness to it, with over 40,000 of our brothers and sisters martyred as they watch on, unblinking, sitting idly by. While the rulers of the Muslim nations surrounding Palestine have the PHYSICAL might to stop the criminal, murderous Jewish entity. These past 12 months, the rulers have turned a blind-eye to the commands of Allah (swt). Wherein HE (swt) says:

[وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَآءِ وَٱلْوِلْدَٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَٱجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّۭا وَٱجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا]

"And what is it with you? You do not fight in the cause of Allah and for oppressed men, women, and children who cry out, “Our Lord! Deliver us from this land of oppressors! Appoint for us a saviour; appoint for us a helper—all by Your grace.”

They respond with only deafening silence to the cries of the people of Palestine as they are slaughtered mercilessly, and reply with nothing different as they face starvation and famine. The World Food Programme has stated, "Hunger remains rampant and the threat of famine persists,”...“If the flow of assistance does not resume, one million vulnerable people will be deprived on this lifeline.” (CNN) Not only do our brothers and sisters face the threat of loss of life from external destruction from bombings, massacres, and ruthless attacks from the Zionist entity, they are also facing the threat of internal destruction from within as their bodies become weaker and weaker, day by day, from the complete and total lack of food and water. According to Middle East Eye, “Obtaining water is a daily struggle, with people lining up in long queues to fill gallon jugs, which they must then transport long distances back to their tents.” and even when food is available, we are reminded of the Zionist entity’s low, and ruthless attacks on Palestinians trying to receive food aid.

Children are starving and dying from malnourishment. Their parents give up their share of food to soothe the cries of their children, in hopes that a piece of bread will help them forget the pain in their stomach even just temporarily. Meanwhile, we have the traitorous Muslim leaders of today, continuing to engage in trade with the Zionist entity as it starves our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Our Muslim leaders are quite literally FEEDING the murderers of our brothers and sisters.

In August, the Jewish entity halted imports from Jordan due to allegations of a cholera outbreak stemming from the Yarmouk River. Pathetically, Jordanian authorities insisted that there was no outbreak, practically begging for their imports to be accepted into the enemy’s country. These are the leaders of today, groveling at the feet of the cruel and murderous entity, turning a deaf ear to the cries of hunger from the Palestinians, and instead siding with a people who will surely face Allah’s wrath on the Day of Judgement. These leaders have sold the Hereafter for a small insignificant price. They forget [verse 77 of Surah Aali-Imran] where Allah swt says:

[إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًا أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَا خَلَـٰقَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا يَنظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ]

"Indeed, those who trade Allah’s covenant and their oaths for a fleeting gain will have no share in the Hereafter. Allah will neither speak to them, nor look at them, nor purify them on the Day of Judgment. And they will suffer a painful punishment."

The only way to bring justice to the people of Palestine, to fill their stomachs with sustenance, and their hearts with peace, is by bringing back the light of Islam to touch all ends of this earth as a governing state. This can not be achieved through appeals to leaders who are controlled by their colonizers. It can only be achieved through the rebellion against these leaders and the reestablishment of the Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood. Only then will the Muslim Ummah, with the pleasure and permission of Allah swt, regain our status as leaders on this Earth. Only then will we be able to save our brothers and sisters all over the world from bloodshed and hunger.
