Hizb ut Tahrir / The Netherlands:
Symposium "Gaza Cries for Help!"

In light of the brutal massacre (genocide) that has been ongoing for more then 18 months committed by this criminal entity against defenseless Muslims in the besieged Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom and injury of more than 180,000 Muslim men and women. Hizb ut Tahrir / The Netherlands held a symposium in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, titled:

"Gaza Cries for Help!"

In support of our people in honorable Gaza, who are being subjected to the most heinous forms of genocide: killing, starvation, and systematic displacement by the criminal Jewish entity, and abhorrent abandonment by the complicit, agent Arab regimes.

The symposium began with a fragrant recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an. Brother Abdul Malik then delivered a speech on the issue of the Blessed Land - Palestine from a historical perspective, and how the infidel, colonialist West established an entity for the Jews to establish an advanced base in the heart of the Islamic world and to guard against the Ummah's attention to its vital issues and prevent its unity on the basis of Islam.

The second speech was given by Brother Bilal. He emphasized that the solution to the Palestinian issue does not lie in a ceasefire, negotiations, the introduction of aid, or any other temporary solutions. Rather, the solution lies in liberating the entire Blessed Land - Palestine by forcing the armies in the surrounding countries, at least, to move toward Palestine to liberate it, eradicate the Jews, and make them an example to those who come after them. This will not be achieved until Muslims rise up against their traitorous and treacherous rulers and reclaim their authority over the country and its armies. The symposium concluded with the opportunity for the audience, who filled the hall, to pose questions to the lecturers. Our final supplication is that all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
