The destruction of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on 3 March 1924 CE, 28 Rajab 1342 AH, marked the end of the Ummah as a unified political entity, but it did not represent the failure of Islam as a system. Rather, it concluded a long historical process during which certain structural weaknesses gradually developed within governance.

Amid the global political discourse, democracy is presented as the pinnacle of human reason in organizing governance, and marketed as the sole guarantor of freedom, justice, and human rights. Yet serious scrutiny reveals that this image is merely a propagandistic veneer concealing a contrary reality: 

The demolition of the Khilafah (Caliphate) was not a fleeting historical event, nor a sentimental memory to be marked merely by tears and elegies. Instead, it was a political and civilizational earthquake the Ummah had not witnessed since the passing of the Messenger of Allah (saw).

Look around you. The world is not quieter; it has simply grown accustomed to the screams.
