On 12 August 2025, the Jordanian capital, Amman, hosted a tripartite meeting between Jordan, Syria, and the United States. The meeting was attended by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and US Special Envoy Tom Barrack. The meeting was part of what was called an attempt to “contain the Sweida [Suwayda] crisis and support Syria’s stability.”

Trump entered politics with no political experience. From the start, he relied on a white base, which he was able to reach by presenting himself as outside the traditional political spectrum. He played on racism, hatred of people of color, and hostility toward Muslims.

The people of the Blessed Land of Palestine, including the people of Gaza, are calling on the Islamic Ummah to support and liberate them, because the brotherhood of Islam requires Muslims to support the oppressed among them.
