A ten-member delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan led by the Governor of Kandahar, Mullah Shereen, has visited Islamabad for a series of talks with Pakistani authorities. The visit of Afghan authorities is taking place whereas the relations between the two countries have been stormy due to the recent rise of TTP’s attacks in Pakistan.

A delegation from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Lebanon presented their condolences for the shahid Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri, who recently lost his life in the capital Beirut. This condolence was offered at the mourning house organized for him and his companions in the Quds Hall in the Nahr El-Bared camp, northern Lebanon.

The spokesperson for the Foreign Office stated, during the press briefing held on December 28, 2023, that “Pakistan has consistently maintained that bilateral relations cannot fully normalize until the resolution of the outstanding disputes, especially the core dispute of Jammu and Kashmir.”
