“I will return Saudi Arabia to moderate Islam”, says Saudi crown prince.
Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, has vowed to return the country to “moderate Islam” and asked for global support to transform the hardline kingdom into an open society that empowers citizens and lures investors.
The Egyptian Interior Ministry issued a statement on Saturday (October 21st, 2017) about the bloody violence that erupted in Al-Wahat (oases) desert region on Friday, saying that it resulted in the death of 16 security forces, the wounding of others and the missing of one officer. In addition, 15 terrorists were killed and wounded.
As Muslims and dawah carriers we interact with others regularly to convey the Islamic message. Islamic teachings provides much advice on how we need to deal with people in our daily lives. These teachings can help us when encountering troubles in our relations with others.
On 11th October 2017 there was a further wave of arrests against Muslims in the Crimea on charges of involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir party. This time the arrests took place in the city of Bakhchisaray, the former capital of the Crimean Vilayat – the peninsula used to be called so before being annexed by the Russian Empire in 1783.
