Wilayah Tunisia: Political Seminar, "What the Ummah Lost with the Fall of Khilafah!"
These verses were read out by the companion Hanzallah the writer, in the sedition (fitnah) that preceded the death of Othman bin Affan may Allah be pleased with him. It is as if he was describing our days where Muslims live in distress and misery, and oppression and humiliation, and dispersion and loss.
This week can for some be conceived as just another ordinary week, however it definitely is not. In this week there are two days which marked a turning point in the history of Islam, on 27th of Rajab the miraculous Isra and Miraj and on the 28th the fall of the Khilafah.
Commemorating 28th Rajab: the Destruction of the Khilafah (Caliphate) as part of a global campaign, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Bangladesh, today (13th April, 2018, Friday) as per its previous declaration successfully organized the marches from various important mosques of Dhaka and Chittagong for the demand of the re-establishment of Khilafah Rashidah.
On Friday 13th April 2018, Hizb ut Tahrir in Kenya led the Muslim Ummah in the 97th Anniversary of the darkest event; the destruction of Khilafah (Caliphate) that left the Ummah as an orphan with no one to care of its affairs. The remembrance was done by conducting picketing after Jumua Prayers in major cities of Nairobi and Mombasa as well as other towns of Lungalunga and Kilifi.
Triggered by the unjust murder of Naqeebullah Mehsud by the corrupt police officer Rao Anwar, the Pashtun tribes have erupted in anger and frustration and rallied behind the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM). After almost two decades since 9/11, this public outpouring of anger is evidence of the popular rejection of the policies the US agents in Pakistan implemented in pursuit of America's destructive "War on Terror."
