Media is awash with reports that some delegates of the Central Committee of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) ruling party criticized the whole procedure of the process of seeking a Presidential candidate for the party. The delegates are Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, Member of Parliament Songea Urban and who served as Minister of the Interior, Sophia Simba, who is currently Minister of Community Development, Gender and Children and Chair of Tanzania Women's Coalition, Adam Kimbisa who is CCM Chairperson of the Dodoma Region.

An 18 month old Palestinian boy has burned to death after Zionist settlers set fire to his family house in Duma village, south of Nablus city, in the occupied West Bank. The parents of Ali Saad Dawabsheh and his four year old brother were also injured in the attack, suffering burns on 75% of their bodies. Graffiti was left on the walls at the entrance to the village reading “revenge” and “long live Messiah”. There are at least three illegal ‘Israeli’ settlements near Duma village.
