Provincial Strife Will End under the Khilafah "Caliphate"

Dawn reported on 16 January, "The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is seeking full protection of its constitutional share in the fresh oil and gas finds in its area and has been asking the federal government to rectify its defaults in the implementation of the 18th Amendment for more than a year now. Sources told Dawn that the provincial government has repeatedly reminded the centre that the 18th Amendment guarantees a 50/50 split of shares in oil and gas resources to the federal and provincial governments."

Pakistan is continuously troubled by quarrel between provinces for their share or quarrel between the federal and provincial governments. This can only be resolved by the adoption of an Islamic constitution. The Khilafah "Caliphate" is a unitary system and not a federal system, so funding for a particular region is not decided by the population, poverty or land area alone. It is decided upon the needs of the people, which include food, clothing, shelter, education, health communications and transport. The public properties such as gas, copper and gold are resources that must be utliised for the benefit of all the citizens, Muslims and non-Muslims, rather than being given over to private foreign and local companies for personal benefit.

As Hizb ut Tahrir has declared in its Introduction to the Constitution, in Article 16, "The system of ruling is a unitary system and not a federal system." And in its book, The Institutions of State in the Khilafah "Caliphate" - In Ruling and Administration, Hizb ut Tahrir has adopted, "The finance of all the regions will be the same, as will their budget. Funds are spent equally on the affairs of the subjects, regardless of their Wilayah. If for instance, the taxes collected in one Wilayah were double its expenditure, the funds spent will be to cover the Wilayah's needs but not according to how much tax raised. If another Wilayah's taxes fell short of its expenditure, this would not be taken into consideration, and funds will be spent to satisfy the Wilayah's needs from the general budget whether it raised enough taxes or not."

Regime Must Close Foreign Hostile Embassies to Secure Peace in Karachi

On 16 February, Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif praised Sindh Rangers for their operation against terrorists in Karachi and said the army will take whatever action is needed to achieve a sustainable peace in the city. A couple of tweets by ISPR Director General Maj Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa on the army chief's Karachi visit said Gen Sharif had been updated by Rangers DG Maj Gen Bilal Akbar on targeted operations. "The COAS appreciated gains of operation by the Rangers, police and intelligence agencies," said one of the tweets, adding that the army would go to any extent to support the operation to ensure peace in Karachi.

However, how far is the regime actually willing to go? It is clear that America and its agents within Pakistan's military and political leadership ensure that Karachi burns in constant fires of rivalry. They not only secure the current colonialist, democratic system, they promote the creation of organizations on ethnicity through direct contact. In Karachi, the American consulate has in particular played a role in fueling ethnic fires as far as field as Baluchistan, using ethnic groupings found in Karachi. It has even made preparations for expanding its war of terror to Karachi. Thus, the colonialists create chaos within the city and then use it as a cover to selectively end threats to their interests, such as sincere politicians who raise their voices against America's war on Muslims.

Islam will end the colonialist presence in Pakistan which is the cause of the unrest. Regarding the foreign hostile presence in Pakistan, the Khilafah "Caliphate" will end it decisively and permanently by closing all American consulates, embassies, bases and deporting all of its officials. It will end all contacts with officials of foreign hostile powers to cut off any influence. As Hizb ut Tahrir has declared in its Introduction to the Constitution, Article 189, "States with whom we do not have treaties, and the actual imperialist states, such as Britain, America and France, and those states that have designs on the State, such as Russia, are legally considered to be belligerent states. All precautions must be taken towards them and it would be wrong to establish diplomatic relations with them. Their subjects may enter the Islamic State, but only with a passport and a visa specific to every individual and for every visit, unless they become practically belligerent." However If they become practically belligerent states i.e. they have invaded our country or occupied our land, then we shall apply the rules of practically belligerent states upon them.

End Contact of Crusader Officials with Pakistan's Military

Pakistan's Army Chief and Afghanistan's President agreed on 17 February to continue coordinated operations against those fighting the American occupation from the tribal border areas. "COAS (Gen Sharif) met Afghan president, both appreciated improving relations, pledged to continue operations on respective side; won't allow use of soil against each other," military spokesman Maj Gen Asim Bajwa, who accompanied the delegation, tweeted on return from Afghanistan. This pledge to help protect the American occupation from armed resistance comes as no surprise, coming only a day after a senior US intelligence official met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters on 16 February for discussions on intelligence cooperation and Afghanistan. "Dr Michael Vickers, US Under-Secretary of Defence for Intelligence, called on the COAS at GHQ," an ISPR statement said.

The Muslims will continue to see their lands occupied by the Americans and their allies, the Hindu and Jewish states, unless the Khilafah "Caliphate" is established. It is not the responsibility of the groups alone to fight the occupation, rather in origin it is the job of the armed forces. However, the current rulers take their commands from the enemy officials rather than obeying the commands of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw). This is why despite decades of resistance by groups, Muslim Lands have yet to be purified from Kuffar occupation.

Upon the Khilafah "Caliphate" return, the foreign hostile nations will be dealt with on a war footing. Their officials will be expelled from the country as one of the steps towards challenging and ending their hegemony. Only then will Islam will be restored to its rightful place, as a beacon of guidance for all of humankind.

((وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ))

"But honour, power and glory belong to Allâh, and to His Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), and to the believers, but the hypocrites know not." [Surah al-Munafiqoun 63:8].

Regime Parrots Obama's Policy of Suppressing Islam

On 18 February, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif directed the provincial governments to implement the National Action Plan (NAP) and said that religious seminaries and organisations involved in terrorist activities should be identified and proceeded against. And on the same day in Washington, the Interior Minister spoke at the US Institute of Peace assuring the Americans that the regime is already utilising all its resources to combat the militants, who were the product of the Afghan jihad.

The regime is merely parroting the direction given to the regime by its masters in America. The regime no longer differentiates between the US intelligence and private military backed animals that kill children, women, soldiers and officers in cowardly attacks and the noble mujahideen who are fighting the American occupation in Afghanistan. Moreover, it is now also chasing those who call for the Islamic duty of Jihad against the Kuffar occupying forces. Does the Raheel-Nawaz regime expect that people just sit down when America wages terrible violence against the people, invading their lands with force and exploiting their resources? Is America to have a sole monopoly on physical force and expect no resistance ever? This is what the master of the regime, President Obama, referred to in his key 17 February Op-Ed to the LA Times in which he stated, "Our campaign to prevent people around the world from being radicalized to violence is ultimately a battle for hearts and minds."

So, how far is the regime willing to go in suppressing Islamic commands to please the Kuffar? Considering that the Quran itself calls for Jihad against the Kuffar enemy, particularly in Surah al-Anfaal and Surah At-Tawba. It is the Word of Allah (swt) itself that has inspired Muslims for over fourteen hundred years to fight the enemy Kuffar with material strength, so as to rise the Word of Allah swt the highest. No doubt, inshaaAllah, the regime will fail as other deceiving tyrants have failed in the past.

Number of Muslim Children in Britain Doubles in a Decade

The number of children growing up as Muslims in the UK has almost doubled in a decade in what experts have described as an "unprecedented" shift in Britain's social make-up. One in 12 schoolchildren in England and Wales are now officially classed as Muslim after a decade which saw the number of followers of Islam surge by just over 1.1 million, according to the most detailed study of its kind ever published. The report, presented to Parliament, concludes that Muslims could play a decisive role in the coming general election, expected to be the closest in recent times, making up a significant share of voters in some of the most marginal seats in the country. But the study of official census data by the Muslim Council of Britain also concludes that the Muslim population will continue expanding for "many decades" to come - something experts said could transform everything from social attitudes to foreign policy. Although immigration has driven growth in the past, it is the dramatically younger age profile of the Muslim population which could have the biggest impact in the future. At a time when the wider population is ageing rapidly, half of British Muslims are under the age of 25 and a third are under 15. Overall 2.7 million people living in England and Wales on census day in 2011 - and another 81,000 across Scotland and Northern Ireland - described themselves as Muslim.

That is up from just under 1.6 million in 2001 - a 75 per cent jump. Among children under the age of five the rate of increase was more than 80 per cent. Significantly, Muslims make up more than a fifth of the population in 26 parliamentary constituencies and around 50 per cent in some areas. There are also 70 council wards with a Muslim population of 40 per cent or more. [Source: Daily Telegraph]
No matter how the British government tries to impose British liberal values upon Muslims, the Muslim community continues to thrive, while the host population continues to age. In the near future, this may prove to be an asset from the true Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah State when it is established.

Narendra Modi Elevated to the Status of a God

A temple built almost a decade ago has finally caught the attention of the man to whom it is dedicated to-Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Although apparently constructed back in 2006, it has risen to prominence only now as worshippers installed Modi's statue and prepared for its inauguration. The temple was constructed on the outskirts of Rajkot in Gujarat, where Modi was the chief minister from 2001 to 2014-and for the last decade, devotees there have been offering prayers before his photographs. It was built on government land by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters who belong to an organization called the Oum Yuva Group. But this isn't the first temple in the honour of Modi, who has been worshipped in a small Uttar Pradesh village for over a year. Still, the news of the Rajkot shrine triggered a string of tweets from the Indian prime minister, who is an avowed Hindu nationalist. The idol is reported to have cost as much as Rs1.65 lakh ($2,642)-and the money was raised through donations from neighboring villages. "We spent so much money on the idol because no artist could make an exact copy of Modi's face and we kept on changing the idol for three to four years. Then finally we called artists from Odisha and they created this idol, which looks exactly like Modi," Ramesh Undhad, who donated funds for the Modi temple in Rajkot village, said in an interview. How can any sane person worship another human being who is just like them. Allah Almighty says:

Turkey Increases Troops as NATO Ends Combat Operations in Afghanistan

NATO formally ended their combat operations in Afghanistan months ago and transferred full security responsibility to the Afghan government. Yet as international combat troops pull out, NATO member Turkey is sending in more troops. About 13,000 foreign troops will remain in Afghanistan to continue training the Afghan National Security Force under a new two-year non-combative mission named ‘Resolute Support'. NATO member-state Turkey will increase their troop numbers from 700 to over 1000; the only country to do so. Professor Emre Hatipoglu said Turkey, who refuses to partake in combat missions in fellow Muslim countries, can now act more independently. In 2011 Turkey established the Istanbul Process between Central Asian countries in order to work towards and promote a peaceful and stable Afghanistan. Last October Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited newly elected Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in Kabul to strengthen his country's commitment to peace between Afghanistan and its neighbor Pakistan, who is accused of harboring the Afghan Taliban. Turkey, along with China, has also been cited as a potential mediator for negotiations between Kabul and the Taliban insurgents. Yet as a Western ally, Turkey's motives raise questions in some corners. Something Turkey needs to address as insurgency attacks increase across the country. Turkey provides nearly $100 million in aid to Afghanistan annually and has announced it is spending over $50 million to manage the Kabul International Airport over the next two years. Turkey also plans to support other infrastructure projects in Afghanistan. As Turkey ramps up its efforts, thousands continue to flee the increasing violence in and around Kabul and other hot spots in the country. The United Nations High Commission for Refugees estimates that more than 10,000 Afghanis will move to Turkey in 2015, giving the capitol Ankara even more reason to want to try and help find a solution. From East to West, it comes as no surprise to see Turkey getting involved in conflicts to keep America's hegemony intact. In Syria, Turkey continues to work with America to ensure Assad's regime remains intact. Likewise, in Afghanistan Turkey's role is to keep the pro-American government of Ghani from falling apart.

On the 17th of February 2014, the Guardian Newspaper commented on the brutal murder of twenty-year-old Turkish student Ozgecan Aslan whilst she was traveling home on a bus. "Reports said Aslan pepper-sprayed the man before he stabbed her and beat her to death with an iron bar. He then enlisted the help of his father and a friend to dispose of her body in a river in Tarsus, where it was found on Friday showing evidence of burns as well as the fatal injuries." The murder has initiated one of the largest twitter campaigns to date. As of Monday, more than 440,000 tweets had been shared under the hashtag #sendeanlat (tell your story). Women have told of their experiences of violence, intimidation and harassment, and it was the third highest trending topic worldwide on Sunday 15th of February 2014. Another hashtag, #ozceganaslan, was even more popular, trending with more than 2.5m tweets,

Even with the so called Islamic political angles used by the governing AKP it is clear that there is growing concern and anger amongst thousands of Turkish women regarding their ability to live in Turkey without fear of violence or abuse. The question that comes to mind is that with all of the Turkish government's rhetoric on the protection of Islamic values such as Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's reversal of the ban on female civil servants wearing the Hijab in 2013, why is there such little progress in the safety of women? What can be done to make real permanent changes in society to give Muslim women and girls their full rights? The current adoption of the ruling party to be identified as a "conservative democracy", this gives us a clearer indication of why women are increasingly suffering under the political policies of the Turkey. The fact is that you cannot make a ‘coalition' of Islamic and non-Islamic principles. The system of Islam was revealed in a manner that must be implemented in its entirety for it to serve the purpose of solving the problems of humanity correctly. For example it is nonsensical to place a permit on women wearing Hijab publically whilst allowing the influence of liberal secular values in the advertising and entertainment mediums that exist in the country. Turkey is fast becoming an international center for the development of soap operas and drama based formats that promote the breakdown of family values, the objectification of women and the undermining of her honorable positon as a wife and mother. The economic system of Islam allows women to work, but also demands that she be maintained financially by her male relatives or the state itself, in this manner she should not be forced to undertake demeaning or slave like work practices to support herself or her children. The penal code of the Khilafah "Caliphate" would uphold the severest of punishments for domestic violence or any kind of abuse of females. The education system would teach boys that they are the guardians of women and that their role is an Islamic obligation that, if not practiced properly, would earn them the punishment of the Islamic State as well as accounting on the Day of Judgment, thus Taqwah and god-fearing motives are crucial in the social order of Islam. In the absence of a comprehensive system working in unison with all other systems all that is practiced in all of the current so called Islamic countries, is a misguided mess of policies that contradict each other and create more social ills than they solve. Allah (swt) forbids this in Surah al-Ma'idah 5:44.

((وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ))

"... And whoever does not judge by what Allah (SWT) has revealed, such are the kaafiroon (disbelievers)"
