According to the news published by Al-Jazeera on 19th December, 2015, the UN Security Council unanimously agreed on a draft resolution for peace talks in January and a ceasefire aimed at ending the war in Syria.
Tuesday the 21st of December, the Court of Cassation issued a verdict endorsing the imprisonment of both brothers, Abdullah Ar-Raashid and Abdul Aziz Al-Munayyis for a period of three years and four months enforced imprisonment and labour.
