News and Comment Thailand has Established Itself as a Muslims Persecution Regime

  • Published in News & Comment
  •   |

News:

The Nation has reported three women shot dead in far South Thailand on 15th November, including the 179th teacher killed in a decade. Two women were shot dead in Yala's Betong district, while a female teacher was also fatally shot in Pattani's Khok Pho district. The schoolteacher - Isara Chairitchok was shot at her house's gasoline pump shop in Khok Pho, her death made Isara the 179th teacher to be killed in the region over the past decade. Sporadic violence has killed more than 5,700 people in Thailand's Muslim-majority provinces bordering Malaysia, where resistance to Buddhist rule has existed for decades and resurfaced violently in January 2004. While at the same time Thailand keep dealing with thousands of asylum Muslims Rohingyas and Uighurs caught in a human trafficking network in Thailand.

Comment:

During this decade, Thailand has had plenty of dark notes with Muslims, ranging from southern bloody conflict that afflicts the Muslim minority in Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat; until repatriation and human trafficking issues affecting the Rohingya and Uyghur. This condition reinforces Thailand as one of the most hostile regime against Muslims, following in the footsteps Kuffar regimes in the West, and the despotic puppet regimes in the Muslim world.

On the other hand the Muslims plight in Thailand is truly a dark portrait of widespread Muslims' miseries; and at the same time also reflects the predatory regimes against Muslims continue to breed and maintained by today's world order. The predator regimes such as Israel, Myanmar, Thailand, India and China continue to be maintained by the world to prey on Muslims. They just receive minor censure from human rights groups and without serious condemnation from UN agencies, other than that the rest of the world just keeps silent while watching.

Number of cases of oppression and misery makes us - the Ummah of Muhammad (saw) tossed around like foam on the ocean with no one willing to defend. We are helpless victims of predator Kufr rulers and we have also been neglected by the puppet Muslim rulers who are the colonial remnants of the Western capitalist countries- those who become adulators of the secular and capitalist world system. As long as the world system remains as it is today, we as a Muslim Ummah remain without a guardian. In the dark, we wander alone awaiting the dawn which does not come. We are orphans, at the mercy of marauding predators picking us off in the night one by one. Such is the dismal state of the Muslim Ummah today, more than eighty years after its guardian figure, the Khaleefah, was dismissed and the institution which he presided over, the Islamic state or Khilafah "Caliphate", dissolved in 1924.

So bring forth the shield which would eliminate Kufr hegemony over the Muslims and protect the blood and honor of Muslim women and children throughout the Muslim world! Bring back our guardian who will also liberate all oppressed Muslim lands and their daughters, establishing for them security and dignity! Please remember the Prophet (saw) once said:

‏إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ ‏‏جُنَّةٌ ‏ ‏يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ

"Indeed the Imam (Khalifah) is a shield from behind whom (one) would fight and one would protect oneself".

News and Comment Raheel-Nawaz Regime Selling Out Pakistan's Energy Sector

  • Published in News & Comment
  •   |

News:

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, on Thursday, 13th November 2014, offered to align his country's policy framework with international practices in the hope that the London Roundtable Conference on Energy would help Pakistan create an enabling environment for investment. He said the government would also like to know the incentives and policy framework that can spur private investment in the oil and gas sectors of Pakistan. The premier invited foreign businessmen to invest in the country's lucrative energy sector. He said, "It [the sector] holds great promise for an attractive rate of return on all investments".

Comment:

Before becoming Prime Minister of Pakistan for the third time, Nawaz Sharif asserted that his government will end the worst ever energy crisis in the history of Pakistan very soon. However, after a lapse of almost eighteen months in government, the miseries of the people are far from ending. During the tenure of the last PPP government, people were told that the root cause of this severe energy crisis is the limited capacity of generating electricity. They said that this is because the eight yearlong Musharraf government did not add a single megawatt of electricity to the national grid. They prescribed rental powers projects as an immediate remedy to end this crisis. A billion Rupees were invested in rental power projects, but the situation became even worse than the Musharraf era.

In the last days of the PPP government, the root cause of the energy crisis was diagnosed circular as debt. When Nawaz Sharif took office on May 2013, PMLN government immediately released 480 billion Rupees to write off circular debt. For a short period of time, people felt a bit of relief, but again the energy crisis started haunting the people and wrecking the economy of Pakistan. Circular debt again reached a staggering amount of 503 billion, which the government cleared in July 2014. And today the circular debt has reached 211 billion rupees in just a few months. All of these huge amounts are filling the pockets of a few capitalist private owners of the property that Islam has stipulated as public property. This violation of Islam occurs at great cost to the people and economy of Pakistan.

Since mid-nineties successive Pakistani governments opened power sector to private sector including foreign investors as well and made such agreements which ensures highest returns on their investment whether electricity is purchased from them or not through sovereign guarantees provided from government of Pakistan. And this has resulted in sever electricity crisis in Pakistan. At the moment Pakistan has installed capacity of 20000 megawatt but generating around 13000 megawatt. Private producers produce less as they find producing less result in higher profits but it cripples Pakistan economy.

Instead of taking lesson from this history, the current Raheel-Nawaz regime is fully committed to privatize Pakistan's oil and gas sector, which is at the moment earning good profits. The biggest oil and gas company, OGDCL, has just announced a net profit for the financial year 2013-14, at a huge 124 billion Rupees.

The energy sector is the backbone of the modern economy. If it crumbles, the whole economy shatters. The Prime Minister's recent visits of China, Germany and Britain are not for the people of Pakistan, rather they are for the benefit of foreign investors, so that they come to own these public properties and deprive the Ummah from these immense natural resources, drowning her in further poverty.

The Raheel-Nawaz regime aggressively works to sell off Pakistan's energy sector to foreign investors, which will further enslave Pakistan to the US and other colonialist nations. Pakistan cannot become an economic giant under democracy or dictatorship, which both implement the capitalist system and follow the dictation of colonialist institutions, like the IMF. Pakistan's true potential can only be materialized under the Khilafah "Caliphate". The Khilafah "Caliphate" will implement the economic system of Islam and manage the energy sector as a guardian of public property, which will ensure the productive utilization of the immense energy sector and generate substantial revenues for looking after the affairs of the people.

"And if only they had acted according to the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), and what has (now) been sent down to them from their Lord (the Qur'an), they would surely have gotten provision from above them and from underneath their feet" [Al-Maida: 66]

"If you see a scholar at the gate of a ruler...."

  • Published in Analysis
  •   |

It appears the Saudi regime has its chief imams firing on all cylinders when it comes to defending its tyranny.
Ever since the Arab Springs began, the Gulf countries have been scrambling to preserve their despotic regimes by adopting drastic measures.

We saw how states placated the uprisings through making some reforms, changing cabinets and economic hand-outs. Whilst Bahrain continues to clamp down on its Shi'ah majority population, Oman was the other Gulf nation to see significant protests. The Sultan continued with his reform campaign by dissolving some ministries, setting up some new ones, granting student and unemployed benefits, dismissing scores of ministers, and reshuffling his cabinet three times. In addition, nearly 50,000 jobs were created in the public sector, including 10,000 new jobs in the Royal Oman Police. The government's efforts have largely placated protesters, and Oman has not seen significant demonstrations since May 2011, when increasingly violent protests in Salalah were subdued.

Saudi Arabia has been able to present the protests in its territories as a Shi'ah uprising and this has caused the bulk of the population to support the clamp down in cities such as Qatif, al-Awamiyah, and Hofuf. In order to contain the uprising, the monarchy announced a series of benefits for citizens amounting to $10.7 billion. These included funding to offset high inflation and to aid young unemployed people and Saudi citizens studying abroad, as well the writing off some loans. As part of the Saudi scheme, state employees saw a pay increase of 15%, and cash was made available for housing loans. No political reforms were announced as part of the package.

At the time of the Arab Springs, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia also issued a fatwa opposing petitions and demonstrations, the fatwa included a "severe threat" against internal dissent.

And now to the backdrop of the rise of Da'ish, the sell-out scholars of Saudi have sought the opportunity to defend their tyrannical regimes by presenting their own regime as a model of Islam.

Oh imam and khateeb at the Grand Mosque in Makkah Sheikh Saleh Al-Talib!

Let it be known that no Muslim in their right mind believes, in this day and age, that the constitution of Saudi is Islamic, neither on paper nor in implementation.

Your oppressive monarchy is known to suppress political ‘dissent'; your dungeons are full of righteous scholars and Islamic political activists; your political allegiance that swings between Britain and the U.S. is well understood; you pick and chose whom you wish to apply the hudood upon - one rule for foreigners and another for royalty.

You think by accommodating the hajis during the Hajj and the extending of the two holy mosques will save you from the wrath of Allah (swt) and the uprising of this Ummah as you lay back on your couches and squander the wealth of this Ummah?

You quote: "Every man on earth should realize that the security of the land of the two holy mosques is the security of every Muslim on earth." Have you not read the ahadith?

«لزوال الدنيا أهون على الله من قتل مؤمن بغير حق»

"The wiping away of the World means less to Allah than a Believer to be killed unjustly" (Ibn Maja)

Abdullah bin Umar said - I saw the Prophet sallalahu alaihi wassalam doing tawwaf around the Ka'aba saying: "How sweet/ good are you and how sweet is your scent. How great are you and how great is your sanctity. By the One who the soul of Mohammad is in His Hand the sanctity of a believer is greater with Allah than your sanctity." (Ibn Maja)

You misquote evidences to justify your stance such as:

Muslim narrated from Abdullah ibn al-Abbas (r),

«مَنْ كَرِهَ مِنْ أَمِيرِهِ شَيْئًا فَلْيَصْبِرْ عَلَيْهِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ خَرَجَ مِنَ السُّلْطَانِ شِبْرًا، فَمَاتَ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»

"If someone dislikes his ruler, he must be patient, because if he comes against the ruler in a rebellious or destructive manner by only a handspan and dies, he dies in a state of pre-Islamic ignorance..."
The Saudi Scholars fail to explain that this refers to the rulers whom the Ummah has given authority to and not the ones who usurp the authority and were forced upon us by the British colonialists!

Another condition for ruling is that the ruler must be ruling according to Islam, which clearly is not the case in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia!

Similarly, they quote the ayah:

((يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ الرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ... ))

"O you who are secure in your commitment to Allah: Obey Allah and obey His Messenger and those who are delegated authority from among you..." [Surah An Nisa' verse 59]

Again, it is inconceivable that Allah (swt) would ask this Ummah to follow Him and His Messenger (saw) and then follow the rule of Kufr as implemented by the current ‘rulers' (again, we use rulers loosely here as they have not been delegated authority by the Ummah or even by the Scholars who take their names in qunut).

They consider uprisings against tyrannical governments as ‘fitna' yet they fail to see the fitna under their own very noses and those that have been committed against this noble Ummah by the Zionist and the Satanic rulers in the Muslim Lands. They see not the fitna of Assad yet they see the ‘fitna' of the Ummah?

Are you ignorant of the hadith narrated in Muslim from Abi Said al-Khudri, he said,

«مَنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ مُنْكَرًا فَلْيُغَيِّرْهُ بِيَدِهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِلِسَانِهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِقَلْبِهِ، وَذَلِكَ أَضْعَفُ الإِيمَانِ»

"I heard the Prophet (saw) say, ‘Whoever of you had seen an evil (munkar) thing let him change it by his hand, and if he could not do that let him do that by his tongue, and if he could not do that let him deny it by his heart (i.e. hate it), and this is the weakest (degree of) faith'."

You even overlook the hadith regarding Hamza (ra):

«سَيِّدُ الشُّهَدَاءِ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، وَرَجُلٌ قَالَ إِلَى إِمَامٍ جَائِرٍ، فَأَمَرَهُ وَنَهَاهُ فَقَتَلَهُ»

"The master of martyrs is Hamza bin Abdul-Muttalib and a man who stood up to an oppressive ruler where he ordered him and forbade him so he (the ruler) killed him."

(Reported by Jabir bin Abdullah and Ibn Abbas in Mustadrak Al Hakim and At Tabarani. Authenticated by Al Albani in "As Saheehah (374))

Are these ahadith and many more evidences not sufficient to demonstrate that it is forbidden for the Ummah to remain silent about this grave munkar of oppressive rule?

Oh Imams of the two holy cities of Makkah and Madina! Fear Allah (swt) as you know better than anybody about strengthening the hand of the oppressor!

Ka'b ibn Ujrah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to us while we were a group of nine. The Prophet said, "Verily, tyrannical rulers will come after me and whoever affirms their lies and supports their oppression has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him, and he will not drink with me at the fountain in Paradise. Whoever does not affirm their lies and does not support their oppression is part of me and I am part of him, and he will drink with me at the fountain in Paradise." (Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i 4207 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Ibn Hajar)

Oh imam and khateeb of the Prophet's Mosque in Madina, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Hudhaifi! We have not chosen these rulers nor do we consider them to be our rulers, yet you have accepted them and given your allegiance to them and to their tyranny.

You quote "It is unlawful for a Muslim to kill another man or destroy the property of others in the name of jihad". What exactly is your definition of Jihad? Is it not "to fight and kill in the name of Allah (swt) for the sake of His Deen?" The Mujahid fighting American aggression in Afghanistan, is this not a Jihad? Why do you keep silent about this? Why do the one's you serve keep silent? Why do you keep silent about the struggle in Palestine, Kashmir, Chechnya, Burma and the likes?

On top of this, you wish to advise us about Jihad? Yet you forget to warn your rulers who have accommodated and consolidated the hand of the enemy in our lands by offering them military bases, rewarding them with billions of dollars worth of military contracts as well as cheap oil to fuel their fire against this Ummah! In fact you are not just satisfied with this level of treachery but you engage in military alliances with the Kuffar to bomb our innocent brothers and sisters in Syria under the guise of fighting extremism!

Oh Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh, Grand Mufti Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh! You quote "Any statement about a religious matter without the right knowledge is a serious sin," Who is worse in the eyes of Allah (swt) than the one who has knowledge yet misguides others?

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (sallalahu alaihi wa sallam) said,

«مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ عَلِمَهُ ثُمَّ كَتَمَهُ أُلْجِمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ»

"He who is asked about knowledge (of religion) and conceals it, will be bridled with a bridle of fire on the Day of Resurrection."' (Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi).
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said,

«مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ عِلْمًا مِمَّا يُبْتَغَى بِهِ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَتَعَلَّمُهُ إِلَّا لِيُصِيبَ بِهِ عَرَضًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَجِدْ عَرْفَ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»، يَعْنِي رِيحَهَا

"He who does not acquire knowledge with the sole intention of seeking the Pleasure of Allah but for worldly gain, will not smell the fragrance of Jannah on the Day of Resurrection." (Abu Dawud)

In another hadith, Allah's Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said:

‘Seek refuge in Allah against the pit of grief.' The Companions asked, ‘Allah's Messenger, what is the pit of grief?' He replied, ‘It is a river in Hell against which even Hell seeks refuge four hundred times a day.' They again asked, ‘Allah's Messenger, who will enter it?' He remarked, ‘It has been prepared for reciters of the Quran desiring to show off their deeds. The most detestable of the reciters in the sight of Allah are those who frequently visit the rulers (for worldly ends).'" (Ibn Majah)

You are fully aware of the scholars of the four madhahib who were punished for their accounting of the rulers as they understood their roles as scholars to the extent that Imam Abu Hanifah (rahimahu Allah) said, "If you see a scholar at the gates of a ruler, accuse him in his Deen". It is the reason why their legacy still lives today.

Finally, oh Scholars and Rulers! You know of your responsibilities and you know that the Prophet (saw) called you, the scholars, the inheritors of the Prophets.

Abu Musa reported, The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Verily, Allah the Exalted will give respite to the oppressor until He seizes him and he cannot escape." Then the Prophet recited the verse, "Such is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Verily, His seizure is painful and severe." (S11:V102) (Source: Sahih Bukhari 4409, Sahih Muslim 2583 Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Stop your betrayal of this Ummah before it is too late for you. The Ummah has woken up and will very soon be taking back what is rightly hers through the re-establishment of The Khilafah "Caliphate". Who will give you and your rulers sanctuary then, even though today your country today gives sanctuary to the enemies and murderers of this Ummah?

Allah (swt) said,

"And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly." [Hujarat: 9]

News and Comment Report: Poverty, Disease, Ignorance Still Biggest 'Enemies'

  • Published in News & Comment

News:

The Guardian Newspaper of 13 November 15, 2014 reported that poverty, health and education are the main challenges facing Tanzania. According to the report brief titled: ‘Tanzania towards 2015: Citizen Preferences and views on political leadership research' conducted on Tanzania Mainland between 2012 and September 2014 shows that the three plights have been ranked among the foremost national problems for three consecutive years - 2012, 2013 and 2014.

According to research findings conducted by Twaweza: over half a century since independence still Tanzania suffers from those plights and the government and Members of Parliament (MPs) have failed to find solutions as pledged in their 2010 General Election manifestos.

Comment:

The problem of poverty is tantamount to a persistent cancer that adversely affects our developing countries despite strategies, the formation of various communal alliances and institutions meant to combat poverty.

Scrutiny reveals that poverty in our developing countries is not a natural phenomenon in the sense that these countries are blessed with abundant of different resources commencing with spacious lands, rivers, minerals, human resource etc nevertheless they are still as poor as a church mouse.

What is lacking from our countries is lack of complete autonomy to decide and control their own issues apart from not embarking on an ideology to pursue in life.  Despite all that wealth, our countries will never be free.

On the other hand, the policy of debts and loans from the capitalist countries to developing countries, privatization of public properties, levies imposed on the concerned countries etc, all these add sufferings upon sufferings of low living standards and poverty that affect healthcare and education programs. Basically the strategies set for poverty eradication being nationally and internationally discussed are but mere unrealistic dreams pertaining to the issue of poverty eradication.

Islam has come with various steps of combating poverty from citizens, including banning unnecessary levies and taxes, prohibiting monopoly, in an endeavor to make the wealth circulate for the purpose of creating job opportunities, protecting public property from being privatized etc. The most important thing under the Islamic State: Khilafah "Caliphate" is the prevention of the capitalist states from pilfering and sucking natural resources of the developing countries.

News and Comment The Resolution Process in Turkey Will Continue

  • Published in News & Comment
  •   |

News:

AKP spokesman Atalay said about the recent meetings with HDP [Peoples' Democratic Party] regarding the resolution process, "in a sense it is an intention renewal, the commitment continues".  (Source: Al Jazeera)

Comment:

The initiated resolution process between the government and HDP-PKK [Peoples' Democratic Party and Kurdistan Workers' Party] in Turkey was about to freeze due to the killings of 48 people during the demonstrations between 6-8 October which were held under the pretext of Kobane. Following the incidents; harsh statements were made regarding the process by the AKP in order to retain the nationalist-conservative votes, and by the PKK-HDP in order to maintain and to increase its own base. Furthermore, the government made some legislative changes under the name of 'new security package' in order to prevent the re-occurrence of such events and to break down the perception of appeasement. Through such changes and increased penalties for protesters; it is sought to forestall similar protests during the future resolution process, because the resolution process in Turkey was disrupted several times. The 1st resolution process initiated by Özal was disrupted through the 'Bingöl massacre' and the 2nd resolution process initiated by Erdogan was disrupted through Khabur and Oslo. This resolution process, which can be called the 3rd resolution process, reached a freezing point due to the events on 6-8 October under the pretext of Kobane and the menacing statements of some British-wing-close names within the PKK-HDP who cannot put up with the resolution process.

Deputy Prime Minister Yalcin Akdogan and a HDP delegation will meet again on Monday, 17 November, after a 2-month long pause in order to discuss the continuation of the process and the steps to be taken. Also that it came out that the Resolution Process Council, which also includes ministers, met the Imrali delegation secretly two times on 11/11/2014 before this meeting, shows that the resolution process will start again. Possible steps from now on will be:

To create a new perception of the resolution process through the statements given to the public which will be decided during those public and secret meetings of the government and HDP-PKK-Kandil delegations.

In the course of time to include names like Hatip Dicle and Ceylan Bağrıyanık who contributed to the process since its beginning among the Imralı delegation which consists of Pervin Buldan, Sirri Sureyya Onder and Idris Baluken.

To create a structure out of the 'wise people' commission that will perform the function of a 'third eye' during the resolution process. The creation of a secretariat, a monitoring committee, and a neutral board of arbitration for Imrali. Also Abdullah Öcalan's declaration communicated by HDP co-chairman Selahattin Demirtas to the government stating "... let's take concrete steps for the resolution process, disarm the PKK through a congress in March and April 2015" provides information about the future of the process. This declaration shows that the HDP-PKK-KCK-Kandil parties consent on continuing in Syria with the PYD [Democratic Union Party], but the PKK in Turkey will leave armed struggle while vacating itself and enter into politics. The 6 point steps declared by the government 2 months ago also included the steps regarding the politicization of the PKK.

The resolution process in Turkey is not only wanted by the government and HDP-PKK, but also by the USA who is the region's gendarme, as the "Resolution Process" is a sine qua non phase for the stability of Turkey, its development and most importantly for the constitutional change.

This is the reason why the disrupted resolution processes since the Özal era are required to be completed with concrete steps before the 2015 elections. Therefore the government and HDP-PKK-Kandil-Imrali will take more careful steps in order to keep the process going on.
