The Martyr Leaders are Alive with their Lord Granted the Gown of Dignity And those Ascribed as Leaders are Dead and Wrapped in a Gown of Humiliation

We have been pained by the assassination of leaders of al-Qassam martyrs, Al-Attar, Abu Shamala, and Barhoum, by the cowardly treacherous Jewish aircrafts, for the fact that this assassination has introduced the joy momentarily in the leaders of the occupation, but we are consoled in that they are alive with their Lord and are enjoying provisions. And that they have shoved the nose of the occupation forces in the sand with little weapons and equipment and left behind them men who follow their footsteps and aspire to meet their Lord in delight.

It was entitled, "Torrential rain and the lack of Responsibility for a Strategic Outlook" and was held on Saturday, 27 Shawwal 1435 AH corresponding to 23 August 2014 CE. Brother Ahmad al Taher was the presenter of the program and Brother Abdel Rahman Saad al Hussien, member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Sudan, provided a theme of how the Western countries contributed to the climate change in many countries including Sudan.

Brother Abdel Rahman Saad al Hussien pointed out how rain is a mercy to the world and it has blessed the land. Many people felt that the rain has demolished their homes and caused destruction. However, that is not the case. The true reason lies in the lack of storm drains and a lack a strategic engineering to avoid such destruction. He concluded the need to take advantage of the water by a correct strategic outlook. The speakers and participants agreed the need for change from this corrupt reality that is experienced by the Ummah.

We Had Enough of Hundreds of Resolutions for Palestine! Now is the Time for Jihad and Khilafah as the Solution

  • Published in Khilafah

Since 1948, hundreds of UN resolutions and agreements have been signed in relation to the Palestine-Zionist conflict but they have failed to resolve the occupation and severe oppression suffered by the Muslims of Palestine under this Jewish state. Rather, many have aggravated the situation and the condition of our brothers and sisters living in this blessed land. Over the 66 years of Jewish occupation of Palestine, thousands of Muslim lives have been sacrificed and the lands of Muslims were pawned. Unfortunately, the Muslim leaders keep their mouth mute on the fate and conditions of the Muslims in Palestine. Erdogan only carried out mourning while instructing the flag half-mast. Najib had been asking for a ceasefire despite many proofs that "Israel" has never kept its promises, let alone adhere to the ceasefire mutually agreed by both parties. Egypt under the secular leader Al-Sisi keeps the Rafah crossing closed. The United Nations (UN), by virtue of being the world organization which was supposed to be the saviour of the oppressed and resolve any conflict in the world could only condemn the brutal actions done by "Israel". The meaningless resolution proposed by the UN to condemn Israel's brutal action was rejected by the US through its veto power.

Under Security Council Resolution (UNSC) 242 and 338 of the UN, the UN has been involved in numerous "Israel"-Palestinian negotiations. The UN's involvement began in 1947, namely the separation of Palestine into a Jewish State and the Arab States through the Resolution 181 expressly rejected by Arab countries that supported Palestine but was still pursued by the United Nations. This resolution was said to reconcile the crisis that struck between Israel and the Palestinians. But "Israel" sought another ruse to launch the war. Then on 15 July 1948, UN Resolution 54 was passed which contained a ceasefire order to all parties to end the war, but ‘Israel' did not abide.

On December 11, 1948, Palestine and Israel agreed to Resolution 194 to establish a UN Conciliation Commission to give protection of and free access to Jerusalem and other Holy Places. Alongside this, they resolved that the refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible. However, this resolution was breached and the resolution was signed again in the next year. As usual, "Israel" continues to violate numerous international laws and these resolutions that have been signed.

On November 22, 1967, in the aftermath of the Six-Day War, a mediation proposal was issued by the UN Security Council - Resolution 242. The text of this resolution refers to the withdrawal of "Israel" armed forces from territories occupied in that recent conflict as well as respect for and acknowledgement of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of every state in the area and their right to live in peace within secure and recognised boundaries free from threats or acts of force. Besides the fact that Israel accepted this resolution, but continues to violate it, this resolution also further re-enforced the legality of the existence of the Zionist state upon land it had usurped from the Palestinians while criminalising resistance against occupation, hence strengthening the hand of the Jewish state.

Although the hundreds of resolutions that have been signed over the years have failed to protect the blood, land, property, and rights of Palestinian Muslims, some Muslims still advocate handing over this matter to the United Nations to seek the solution. The Muslim leaders in particular do not feel guilty about relying on the world organizations formed by the Kuffar to address the problems encountered by Muslims, even though such problems should be solved by Muslims according to their Deen. Allah (swt) says,

"Let not the believers take disbelievers for their friends in preference to believers. Whoso doeth that hath no connection with Allah unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them, taking (as it were) security. Allah biddeth you beware (only) of Himself. Unto Allah is the journeying." [Ali Imran: 28]

Allah(swt) also says,

"O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers." [At Tawba: 23]

Have those who advocate handing over the Palestine-Zionist conflict once again to the UN to resolve forgotten that this very institution is responsible for the formation of Israel in Palestine upon ending of the Second World War? Have they forgotten the role of UN peacekeepers who abetted the Serbian army in the Bosnian Muslims' genocide in Srebrenica in 1995? Have they forgotten the endless UN resolutions that condemn Israel's atrocities on Gaza and the West Bank which have never given "Israel" any lesson on its criminal behaviour or stemmed its arrogant refusal to adhere to international laws? The UN and International Law has never had any good record to defend the fate of Muslims.

Furthermore, all permanent members of UN Security Council have a long history in attacking the Muslims. This includes Russia and China who were involved in the attack on Muslims such as the criminal acts carried out by China in East Turkestan (Xinjiang) and Russia's criminal acts in Chechnya, its invasion in Afghanistan as well as its persecution of Muslims on its own home soil.

Indeed, the problems encountered by Muslims in Palestine can never be resolved by the United Nation (UN) which is a Kufr organization. The Muslims in Palestine are being attacked by Israel. Thus, the only way to fight against this Zionist state which is the enemy of Allah is through jihad undertaken by the Muslim armies. All Muslim leaders are obligated to commence jihad against "Israel" to save our Muslim brethrens, thus liberating the blessed land from the Kuffar regime. Unfortunately, we are very confident that these traitor Muslim leaders will do nothing and keep chasing the worldly wealth, power and position as well as following the orders of their Western masters, instead of mobilising their armies in the Path of Allah. Therefore, the only solution is for us as Muslims is to motivate our brothers, fathers, and sons of the Muslim armies to rise to their duty of defending their Ummah. In addition, we must strive to re-establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" under which the Khalifah will mobilize the army under his command to liberate all occupied Muslim land and return it under the rule of Islam.

Abolish Democracy, Establish Khilafah The Strength of Pakistan's Armed Forces Must be Used to Abolish Democracy and Establish Khilafah

The well-publicized crisis caused by marches and sit-ins confirms that the real power lies with the armed forces within Pakistan, just as it does throughout the Muslim World.  Both the opposition and the government have been looking towards the armed forces to end the crisis. On the one hand, the opposition threatened the intervention of the armed forces, if their demands are not met.

Ferguson Riots Play Big in Russia

In the United States, days of rioting in Ferguson, Mo. over the police shooting of African American teenager Michael Brown are a troubling reminder of how deeply racial tensions still divide the country. In Russia, they provide an opportunity, in this era of sanctions and new Cold War-style sentiments, to accuse America of being a giant hypocrite. In the United States, "which has positioned itself as a ‘bastion of human rights' and is actively engaged in 'export of democracy' on a systematic basis, serious violations of basic human rights and barbaric practices thrive," Russia's Foreign Ministry said Friday, in a special commentary on the situation in Ferguson. "We would like to advise American partners to pay more attention to restoring order in their own country, before imposing their dubious experience on other states." Such ministerial-level tongue-lashing might not seem out of place at the present moment, as the United States and Russia trade everything from vitriol to sanctions over their competing stances on Ukraine -- and more generally, are experiencing the worst diplomatic unraveling since the breakup of the Soviet Union. But the riots and protests in Missouri aren't just registering with diplomatic officials: They are also prime-time gold.

Ferguson, Mo. is second only to eastern Ukraine among global hotspots commanding the attention of Russia's influential state television broadcasters right now. The Russian Foreign Ministry said the "police murder of an African-American teenager in the city of Ferguson" had happened in the context of the United States' generally "inhumane" treatment of black Americans, listing medicinal testing and forced sterilization of inmates who are "mostly black," as well as police abuse of non-whites. "The low level of American participation in international treaties on human rights does not contribute to solving these often long-standing problems," the ministry added. "Notwithstanding this, in Washington, they don't hesitate to declare their own 'exceptionalism' and leadership in the fortunes of the world." [Source: Washington Post].

The media is the tongue of the ruler. Both America and Russia frequently use the media to conceal the ugliness of their societies whilst exporting their fifth abroad. Inshallah the time is coming soon when the Khilafah "Caliphate" will expose all the major powers for the criminals they are and the deviant ideologies they follow.

Top US General Calls for Acton against ISIS in Syria

Following the murder of American journalist James Foley by IS, General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, said it was "an organization that has an apocalyptic, end-of-days strategic vision and which will eventually have to be defeated". He added: "Can they be defeated without addressing that part of their organization which resides in Syria? The answer is no. That will have to be addressed on both sides of what is essentially at this point a non-existent border." US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said air strikes had helped to stall the IS advance in Iraq, but admitted that Washington needed to take a "cold, steely, hard look" at other measures needed." They are beyond just a terrorist group. They marry ideology, a sophistication of strategic and tactical military prowess, they are tremendously well-funded... this is beyond anything that we have seen," he said. Lord Dannatt, former head of the British Army, said in tackling IS, the US and Britain would need to build bridges with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a leader both countries have said should be removed. "The Syrian dimension has got to be addressed. You cannot deal with half a problem," he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme. "The old saying my 'enemy's enemy is my friend' has begun to have some resonance with our relationship with Iran. I think it's going to have to have some resonance with our relationship with Assad. "Lord Dannatt said if the US decided to carry out air strikes against IS in Syria, "it's got to be with the Assad regime's approval". [Source: Channel 4]

So there you have it. The West has finally found an excuse to mend relations with Assad in order to fights a small miniscule group called ISIS. No doubt by using ‘fighting ISIS' as a pretext the West plans to work with Assad, Hizbollah, Iran, Turkey, Iraq and the GCC to quash the Islamic revival in Syria.

Former Cricketer Imran Khan Slams US Interference in Pakistan's Domestic Affairs

Former Pakistani cricketer and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has bashed the US for a statement, slamming any movement attempting to bring down the democratically elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif. At a briefing in Washington, State Department Deputy Spokesperson, Marie Harf, said, "Nawaz Sharif was elected and is prime minister. There is a government that was elected and is in place. We support the constitutional and electoral process in Pakistan.

"And we do not support any extra-constitutional changes to that democratic system or the people attempting to impose them." In response, Khan has requested the United States not to interfere in his country's domestic affairs. "The US State Department statement on the current political crisis constitutes interference in Pakistan's domestic affairs," Khan said. [Source International Business Times]

All Pakistanis know that the US interferes in Pakistan's domestic affairs. But what most Pakistanis would like to know is that apart from the rhetoric, what is Imran's policy towards the US. Is Imran going to severe relations with America? Is Imran going to close down the American embassy and expel its staff? Is Imran going to dismantle Raymond Davis's network and expel all US military personnel? Is Imran going to stop Pakistani incursions into the tribal areas, make peace with the Taliban and then turn their guns on American forces operating in Afghanistan?

News and Comment Political Crisis in Selangor shows how society's minds are still corrupted by western twisted values

News

In recent months, local political talks are centered on leadership crisis in one of the wealthiest state in Malaysia; Selangor. After failure to ask the current Menteri Besar (Chief Minister), Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim from resigning his post; Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has expelled the former from the party on August 9th after a contested disciplinary proceeding took place a day earlier (BERNAMA). This makes Tan Sri Khalid legitimacy as the Menteri Besar becomes questionable as he is now an independent member and unofficially he has lost the majority confidence in the Selangor's state assembly. PKR has stated the reason for decision to remove Tan Sri Khalid from the post is due to his questionable integrity in both personal as well as management of the state.

The Pan Islamic Party (PAS), a member party of ruling coalition which earlier defended Tan Sri Khalid from being removed as Menteri Besar due to lack of justification; in the end looks like have to abide with PKR and make a reverse decision on August 17th by nominating Datin Seri Wan Azizah Ismail, the President of PKR along with Azmin Ali as the candidate for new Menteri Besar of Selangor (Channel News Asia).

The whole episode might reach its climax by the end of next week when The Sultan of Selangor return from his trip to Budapest and finally make the awaited decision who will ultimately be the new Menteri Besar.

Comment

The current leadership turmoil in Selangor has clearly shown the ugly side of current political system based on democracy for those who choose to think and rationalize what has happened. Unfortunately, it also shows the level of thought within the society and the basis of their rational. Clearly, from the common masses to the top of political leaders, it is self and common interest that dominates decision instead of Islam and Shariah as the sole source of reason.

PAS was earlier making a stand not to replace Tan Sri Khalid as the allegation against him has not been investigated and proven. This remind us to similar PAS stand on championing the cause of those being oppressed when PKR de-factor leader Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim was sacked from his Deputy Prime Minister post back in 1998. However, when PAS stated that the reason for making the latest decision not to defend Khalid as Menteri Besar is because Khalid now is not a member of PKR anymore, one start to wonder where the earlier noble cause has gone to?

On other quarters, objections were thrown to the candidacy of Datin Seri Wan Azizah on the basis that she is a women hence cannot become Menteri Besar. There were also notion that she must not be appointed as the chief executive of Selangor's state government as she was not born in Selangor. There were so much reasons and rational being discussed, debated, defended and proposed but none are based on sound Islamic principles. On what Shariah principle an affiliation to a particular party becomes a condition for being elected as leader? Does Islam prohibit us from electing somebody to become leader if he or she was not of local origin? Does gender becomes a question for an executive post?

There is so many wrongs that have happened once we properly analyze the whole situation around this political crisis. But this dire situation where people (majority is Muslim) are not taking what Allah has commanded as the basis of decision making should cause an alarm to our conscience as Muslims.

Allah (swt) condemned ruling by other than all that He (swt) has revealed. Allah (swt) said,

"And judge between them by all that Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires, and beware (O Muhammad) lest they might seduce you from even some of what Allah has sent down to you" [Surah Al-Maaida 5:49].
