On the sidelines of the strong concern that Muslims in Indonesia and the world have towards the bloodshed of their brothers and sisters in Gaza, there is a discordant voice in Indonesia from  Twitter with the hashtag #prayforpapua which essentially stated that there was "no need to take care of a neighbor's house, let us take care of our home first", referring to the problems affecting Muslims in Papua. Provocative statements such as "You Defend Palestine, but You Forget Papua" continues to be posed as if contradistinguish between Gaza and Papua.

Comment:

This kind of stance is not a noble attitude while at the same time signifies that it is not coming from the Muslims heart. As Muslims are one body, if any part of the body is hurting, another part will feel the same pain. This provocative minor voice is completely unfounded because the very fact that Muslims have always been at the forefront spoken for Papua, even the Dawah of Islam is growing rapidly there to fortify the people from separatism and raise awareness of the dangers foreign occupation on Papua land.

Rasulullaah (saw) has gave to us a very strong legacy that is Islamic Ukhuwah (brotherly) bond among the Muslims that has no equal, this bond is stronger than the bond of nationality even the family blood bond so that's why the Dawah of Muhammad (saw)  was regarded as magic by the pagan Quraish. This Islamic bond makes Rohingya, Pattani and Syrian Muslims able to express their sincere support for the Muslims in Gaza in the midst of their own pain. Even Muslims in Gaza who were being bombarded by missiles still had expressed their sympathy for the MH17 Malaysian plane tragedy which also befell some Muslims, Masha Allah!

All miseries and oppressions upon the Ummah precisely further awaken the Islamic revival. Wherever it happens, in either Syria, Gaza, Central Africa, Myanmar, Xinjiang or Papua, it has shaken every single bosom of faithful Muslim. As whatever happens in the East, all the Muslims in the West are worried about it, as well as anything happen in the West then all Muslims in the East will react. Masha Allah, this noble Ukhuwah Islam bond has made the scattered Muslims Ummah transformed into ONE UMMAH that has ONE heartbeat, ONE tread and ONE global voices.

Let us pray to Allah for protection of the Muslims from separatism, sectarianism and nationalism that became an ancient Western toxic weapon to divide the unity of Muslims Ummah. Including the issue of Papua and its separatist movement that is driven by a foreign western power for a long time to secede from Indonesia land.

((وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعاً مَّا أَلَّفَتْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَكِنَّ اللّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِنَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ))

"And He has united their (i.e. believers') hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allah has united them. Certainly He is All-Mighty, All-Wise" [Al Anfal: 63]

The news - despite being bitter - did not surprise us of the Christians evacuating Mosul from their homes and residences, on their way to the Nineveh Plain and the Kurdistan region, to escape with their lives, before the expiry of the deadline set by the ISIS Organization, by Saturday 19th July 2014 at noon. The deadline came in the so called Destiny Document that its items were relayed during the Friday sermons in the city's mosques, where they were given an ultimatum to convert to Islam, pay Jizya, or leave the city, with not more than the clothes they are wearing and not to carry with them anything of their money or possessions. If they did not, there would be "nothing between them and the organization except the sword"...!

An organization that is used to impose its views with extreme cruelty, so it dared on the blood and money, without a scruple of fear of Allah, is the best proof of the veracity of our thought that their declaration of Caliphate was not more than a proactive movement to trivialize the great Khilafah "Caliphate" in the hearts of ordinary Muslims. And to make it a material for joke in service for the projects of the Kaffir West, who their sleep have been disturbed by the sincerity of those sincerely working for the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of the Prophethood; those following the way of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and his family, no matter how great the sacrifices and the length of time it takes. How can it not, and its manifestations loom, Allah the Exalted willing, through the blessed revolution of Ash-Sham, the awakening of Muslims everywhere, and the near end of the forced rule.

Finally, the application of Islam is not a sword hanging on the necks of the people, and not a way to extort their money through vicious means. Rather it is a mercy to the worlds ... revealed by Allah, for people to secure their lives, honor and property.

The proper application of Islam throughout its prolonged history was a major factor for the nations and peoples to enter into it in multitudes, rather they did not enjoy justice and safety, except under its shadow ... And the stories of the Christians from East fighting with Muslims against the Crusaders the aggressors, is an incandescent proof. So let us be the best inviters to Islam; the bringers of good tidings and not to be repulsive, and satisfy our Lord the Almighty,

((أدْعُ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ))

"Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided."[An-Nahl: 125 ]
