Statement by Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Jordan at the funeral of the martyr, (Inshallah) Raed Zu'aytir.

Jumada I 1435 AH corresponding to March 2014 CE

The International Counter-Terrorism Conference held in Baghdad on March 13th, 2014 over two days ended with broad recommendations which are non-binding on the ground, such as the adoption of a World Day to commemorate the victims of terrorism, the activation of regional and international conventions related to combating terrorism, the development of national laws, the promotion of human rights in accordance with international standards, and the preparation of educational and cultural programs designed to immunize young people from intellectual and cultural extremism which develops the terrorism phenomenon...etc.

Thus, the failure of the conference was not a surprise; nothing was expected from it, and for reasons most notably the two:

First: The head delegations of the participants are the leading sponsors of terrorism regionally and internationally: America, Russia, China, Britain, and the like. If they were honest in the objective that they came for, the Syrian crisis would have not entered its third year, and the number of martyrs and displaced internally and externally would not have reached terrifying records! But they have all cooperated to support the "butcher" of Syria, who received various material and moral support from them, and under the same slogan, namely the elimination of "terrorism". The West will persecute anyone who yearns for liberation from their dominance, and seeks pride, dignity, and independence from their oppressive systems.

Second: The sponsor of the conference (the Maliki government) are not better than their masters, while paying lip service of being victims of terrorism and weeping for the innocent people of Iraq, they remain silent over the cleansing war that is carried out by the militias in several cities of Iraq, that claimed the lives of hundreds of men, women and children, and displaced twice as many inside and outside the country.

Then they boast with the little aid they provide which is immersed in humiliation and shame, all this is for the service of America the leading sponsor of terrorism in the world.

O people!

The pursuit of this group that gathered to draw up solutions to the problem of "terrorism", is nothing but an attempt to legitimize the oppressive governments imposed on their people, to beautify their crimes with compassionate legislations on the surface, but in reality they are pure punishments to silence every free person who refuses to be subservience to their tyranny, but Allah the Almighty is on the lookout for every disdainful arrogant, He (swt) says:

((وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ))

"And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]" [Ibrahim: 42]
