Women in Turkey and around the world took to social media this week posting pictures of themselves laughing, after Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç commented that women should not laugh in public. There has been outrage from the Western media, and the statement is viewed as proof of the "Islamist" sentiments of the AKP government and their desire to erode the secular nature or Ataturk's republic.

"[The woman] will know what is haram and not haram. She will not laugh in public. She will not be inviting in her attitudes and will protect her chastity", he said during his speech on morality.

There have been more than 300,000 tweets using the term "kahkaha" - the Turkish word for "laughter" - and on the hashtags "Resist Laughter" (#direnkahkaha) and "Resist Woman" (#direnkadin). Extreme feminist group FEMEN have also taken part in the social media protest by posting pictures of a topless member with "real women don't laugh" painted across her torso.

In the same speech, the deputy prime minister also called on men not to be "womanisers" and blamed TV shows for encouraging teenagers to become "sex addicts". While the general tide of opinion on social media was critical, he did get some support. One man tweeted to say Arinc was simply trying to uphold "moral values" that form "part of Turkish culture".

Comment

With the presidential election little over a week away, this was thought by many as a ploy to appeal to the religious voters of Turkey, despite alienating the ardent secularists.

Islam has clearly defined the way in which men and women should behave in public life in the Quran and Sunnah. Allah (swt) says in Surah Nur verse 30 and verse 31:

قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذَلِكَ أَزْكَى لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا

"Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent..."

Modesty is to be observed at all times, not merely through individual actions but through the Islamic systems implemented upon society.

Social laws such as dress code, segregation and marriage seek to limit the sexual instinct to within the private sphere and only between a married couple where both the husband and wife have rights and responsibilities towards one another. Harsh punishments for crimes such as fornication and adultery further act as a deterrent to promiscuity and truly ensure that the Islamic State is a state which avoids the destructive social problems we witness in the West today such as sexually transmitted diseases, abortions and the rise of the single parent family to name but a few.

Thus, whilst the comments of Arınç are not necessarily contrary to Islam, devoid of the implementation of such systems comprehensively they will not produce the desired result. At the same time, such a statement coming from a state that only removed its decade old ban on the wearing of the hijab in public institutions in October is hypocritical to say the least.

Anything other than the full implementation of Islam will always result in the oppression of women and men, for Allah (swt) says in Surah Maidah verse 45:

((وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ))

"Whoever does not rule according to what Allah has revealed, they are the oppressors."

The actions of the AKP government are not motivated by Islam, but rather what will win most support from the majority population, regardless of what they identify with. The time has come for Turkey to decide whether it is a secular liberal democracy or if it will embrace Islam holistically and fulfill the promise of Allah (swt) through the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah.

No PM, Only the Khilafah "Caliphate" Can Bring Revolution

The Dawn reported on 30 July, "Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said on Tuesday that only democracy could bring revolution in Pakistan." However, like Dictatorship, Democracy can never bring revolution because it ensures that all the laws that are made by man, neglecting the commands of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw). The current system is fundamentally a continuation of the British Raj occupation that abolished Islamic rule in the Indian Subcontinent. Even though Muslims shed their pure blood to establish Pakistan in the name of Islam, it was the British Parliament that created Pakistan's initial legislation under its Indian Independence Act of 1947. Pakistan's first constitution in 1956 and every subsequent constitution, including the present 1973 constitution, has been framed around this man-made law. So, until today, Pakistan is exploited by foreign powers and their local agents because they manipulate laws according to their. This occurs whether a democrat and his assemblies or a dictator and his cronies sit on top of this system.

Pakistan will never witness revolution, even in another seven decades, as long as the current system remains. The obstacle to change is man- made law, whether implemented by democracy or dictatorship. Fundamentally, the current system denies Allah (swt) being the sole Sovereign over humankind, ordering and forbidding them according to all that He (swt) revealed. Instead, man-made law gives human-beings the choice to obey Allah (swt) or disobey Him, even though Allah (swt) has revealed, ((وما كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلاَ مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمْ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلاَلاً مُبِينًا)) "It is not befitting for a believing man or woman to have any choice in a matter, when it has been decided upon by Allah and His Messenger." [Surah Al-Ahzab 33:36].

Article 245 Is Being Used to Protect American Raj

The ruling and opposition are in a struggle over the issue of deploying the armed forces in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad. The opposition is accusing the ruling party using force to prevent announced protests against the government on August 14. The government through its interior minister saying that the deployment is to prevent retaliation against the North Waziristan tribal operations. Both premises for deployment show that the armed forces has been made internally focused, rather than dealing with external enemies who are causing the internal instability. So, either our armed forces are being used to prevent the accounting of the American stooges in power or it is being used to protect the American forces in Afghanistan from tribal attacks. However, the constitutional article invoked actually prioritizes the external focus of the armed forces. Article 245 of the current 1973 Constitution states that, "The Armed Forces shall, under the directions of the Federal Government, defend Pakistan against external aggression or threat of war, and, subject to law, act in aid of civil power when called upon to do so." It is the external contact with traitors in our military and political leadership has meant the exploitation of Pakistan at the hands of America, which has led to growing protest against the government. It is also the external aggression by American intelligence and private military that has plunged the country into insecurity through bombings and assassinations.

Only the Khilafah "Caliphate" will give the armed forces the correct focus. As Hizb ut Tahrir has adopted in its Introduction to the Constitution, in Article 189, "States with whom we do not have treaties, and the actual imperialist states, such as Britain, America and France, and those states that have designs on the State, such as Russia, are legally considered to be belligerent states. All precautions must be taken towards them and it would be wrong to establish diplomatic relations with them." And in the same Article's Clause 4 it has stated, "States that are actually belligerent states, such as Israel for example, a state of war must be taken as the basis for all dealings with them. They must be dealt with as if a real war existed between us - irrespective of whether an armistice exists between us or not - and all their subjects are prevented from entering the State."

Abolish Democracy to End Political Corruption

Federal Minister for Finance, Senator Ishaq Dar, on 31 July said that talks will be held with Swiss authorities in August to bring back US $200 billion to Pakistan from banks in Switzerland, allegedly ill gotten gains from political corruption.

Patting itself on its back again the Raheel-Nawaz regime has failed to address the cause of corruption itself, Democracy. Wherever democracy exists, corruption by a small elite will always occur, exploiting the country's resources at the expense of the people. As US Democrat Robert C Byrd lamented of his democratic country as "an administration of the wealthy, by the wealthy, for the wealthy." The concentration of wealth in the hands of a small elite is legalized through man made legislation under democracy. The elite usurps from society sources of huge revenue, specifically, the predominately state properties and public properties, such as large scale arms manufacture, banking and energy industry. In India, democracy has been uninterrupted for nearly seven decades, with the result of an extremely wealthy political elite with masses that are driven to suicide because of poverty, to the order of hundreds of thousands. Democracy is the reason why Pakistan is a wealthy country, with poor people but immensely rich rulers and politicians. A survey carried out by Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT), that was subsequently covered in many newspapers, exposed how the average total wealth of Members of Pakistan's National Assembly's had tripled in only six years,

In the Khilafah "Caliphate", not only do the Shariah rules prevent usurping of the Ummah's wealth, the Khilafah "Caliphate" will estimate the personal wealth of the Walis when they enter ruling and will take back any wealth they acquire during ruling when their rule ends. Only then will we be rid of worthless opportunists who seek the rule for personal benefit. RasulAllah (saw) said,«سَيَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ سَنَوَاتٌ خَدَّاعَات، يُصَدَّقُ فِيهَا الْكَاذِب، وَيُكَذَّبُ فِيهَا الصَّادِقُ، وَيُؤْتَمَنُ فِيهَا الْخَائِنُ، وَيُخَوَّنُ فِيهَا الأَمِينُ، وَيَنْطِقُ فِيهَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ»، قِيلَ: وَمَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ؟ قَال: «الرَّجُلُ التَّافِهُ يتكلم فِي أَمْرِ الْعَامَّةِ» "People will face years misleading and cheating where the liar will be taken as truthful and truthful will be taken as liar; betrayer and treasonable person will be trusted and the trustworthy will be betrayed and the Ruwaibidha will speak, (the Prophet (saw) was asked who the Ruwaibidha are, He (saw) said: The worthless and virtueless who will take charge of peoples' affairs." Only the Return of Khilafah "Caliphate" Will Liberate Pakistan from the Choke Hold of Alliance with America

In a joint statement issued after the 1 August meeting of Indian PM Modi with US Secretary of State, John Kerry, India and the US urged Pakistan to bring the perpetrators of the Mumbai attacks to justice. In the same statement, Washington assured New Delhi that "the United States looks forward to a reformed UN Security Council that includes India as a permanent member".

This is the reality of the so-called strategic alliance of Pakistan and the US. Pakistan is bled dry, whilst its enemies are hoisted over its head. So Pakistan has bled billions of dollars, tens of thousands of civilians and thousands of its armed forces and security personnel for the sake of America's crusade. Whilst India is rewarded by America for Pakistan's efforts with promises of a permanent position in the Security Council of the United Nations, an organization that is the anvil upon which the Ummah is smashed, oppressed, divided and weakened.

This dire situation can only be reversed when the Ummah establishes the Khilafah "Caliphate" in a strong country or group of countries, as the base for the unification of the entire Muslim World as one powerful state. Only then will the Ummah be free of alliances with hostile nations that are strangulating her huge potential. And such measures from the Kuffar against the Ummah is only strengthening her attachment to the Khilafah "Caliphate" and hastening her to her goal. Allah (swt) said, ((وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هُوَ قُلْ عَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا)) "And they say, "When is that?" Say, Perhaps it will be soon." [Al-Isra: 51]

Are the Muslim Armed Forces only For Defending Thrones of Western Agents?

The Raheel-Nawaz regime has strongly denied reports that Pakistan has sent troops to defend the throne of the Western stooge, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa, said "No Pakistani troops are being sent or being deployed in a section of the media." Such reports have been circulating ever since the Kingdom "gifted" $1.5 billion dollars without any clear stated cause for such sudden generosity.

As usual Raheel-Nawaz regime is evading the real issue, which is what should the role of the armed forces be towards the tyrant regimes that currently plague the Muslim World. This question demands an urgent answer at a time that the entire Ummah is demanding an Islamic revolution, implementation of Shariah and the restoration of the Khilafah "Caliphate". The thrones of the tyrants are shaking, whether that of Sisi in Egypt, Bashar in Syria, Abdullah in Saudi or the Raheel-Nawaz regime in Pakistan. These thieves are huddling together to prevent the return of Islam for it will sweep away the class of rulers who have for decades looted and plundered the Ummah's resources, as a wage for loyal service to the West. And what keeps them in their thrones is purely the support of the armed forces through traitors in the military leadership.

Indeed, the role of the armed forces in Islam is to provide Nussrah for the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate". This is what Islam has stipulated clearly from the example of the beloved RasulAllah (saw). RasulAllah (saw) stripped the kufr rule of its physical support from those who had the material power to secure its survival. He (saw) personally met the men of war, fire and steel, and demanded from them the Nussrah for the Deen. He (saw) traveled near and far, in hardship and in ease, to secure the Nussrah for Islam as a state. He (saw) sought the strong, discerning material capability in detail, asking «وهل عند قومك منعة؟» "Do your people have strength?" and rejecting those too weak to secure Islam from its enemies. Thus he met many tribes including, Banu Kalb, Banu Hanifah, Banu Amr bin Sa'asah, Banu Kinda and Banu Shaiban. He (saw) persisted in this methodology patiently until Allah granted success in the matter of Nussrah, with the Ansar (ra), a small but sincere and brave group from within the men of war. And so Nussrah for Islam as a rule was secured by the methodology of the Prophethood, transforming the torn and divided Yathrib into a powerful beacon for Islam, Madinah Al-Manawwarah.

After the Melbourne Declaration 2014, all the parties that attended unanimously agreed that an immediate and unified opposition to the countries that discriminate and stigmatize people on basis of their sexual orientation i.e. lesbians, gays, bisexual and intersex people through the following actions.

• Governments must repeal repressive laws and end policies that reinforce policies that reinforce discriminatory and stigmatizing practices that increase the vulnerability to HIV, while also passing laws that actively promote equality.
• Decision makers must not use international health meetings as a platform to promote discriminatory laws and policies that undermine health and wellbeing.
• The exclusions of organizations that promote intolerance and discrimination including sexism, homophobia and transphobia against individuals or groups from donor funding for HIV programmes.
• Restrictions on funding such as the anti-prostitution pledge and the ban on purchasing needles and syringes must be removed as they actively impede the struggle to combat HIV, sexually transmitted infections and Hepatitis C among sex workers and people who inject drugs. [Source: The Standard]

Comment:

Over 80 countries in the world that do not support these immoralities have lost their funds in the so-called world of freedom where the majority wins. Almost 95% of the citizens living in this, over 80 countries are being forced without their will to accept acts that promote nothing but immoralities and diseases amongst them.

The shutting of funds to the NGOs also crystal clear shows that these NGOs are tools used by the western governments as ladders in achieving their goals in the desperate third world countries. The threat of stop funding is to make sure that they will forever cling to their master's desire. If all this is done to make sure that the rights of few individuals are met, what about the women, children and old people in Palestine? Is it not their right to live? What about the more than 1.8 billion Muslims who want to be ruled by their Quran and Sunnah? Is it not their right?

This shows to even the blind that the rule of the people by the people and for the people is impractical and nothing but the rule of the few rich and for their benefit only. They are protecting the Jewish entity for killing thousands of people in Palestine and they are also ready to stop the funds for people with disease that they manufactured by their own hands not caring the thousands that might die. All for their own benefits.

They are spending billions of taxpayer's money in fighting the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" which is the right of more than 1.8 billion Muslims in the world also for nothing but their own benefits. They have breathed the last breath and sooner than later they will be replaced inshAllah with the Khilafah "Caliphate" system that will only rule by Quran and Sunnah and for the sole interest of the UMMAH.
