Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan is organizing a picket for children in Irbid city by the title of: "From the Children of the Land of Yarmouk to the Children of Homs, Gouta, and Yarmouk Camp". As well as calling on the revolutionaries to end the fitna - the lethal weapon against the revolution - and to end the fighting between them and the shedding of the sacred blood and to unify their ranks in order to lift the blockade on the besieged in the cities, villages and refugee camps. And to get rid of Bashar's criminal regime, which failed completely to subjugate the Muslims of Ash-Sham, along with his allies, America, Russia, Iran, and its party in Lebanon. And in condemnation of the complicity of the rulers of the Muslims against the blessed revolution and their consensus to betray the people of Ash-Sham and not assisting them from the crimes and venom of Bashar and his regime; who added to his list of criminal arsenal, the weapon of starvation; to kill the Muslims and their children in order to subjugate them after he failed to do so by the use of chemical weapons, heavy artillery, aviation, missiles, and explosive barrels.

And to call on the Muslim armies to rise up to their duty towards their brothers in Ash-Sham and to provoke their chivalry!

Location of the Picket is the UNRWA Schools' Square, at the Sign of Iskan in Yarmouk University Street. It will be held Insha'Allah on Thursday 16/1/2014, at 11:30 am.

Hizb ut Tahrir strongly condemns the recent violence being perpetrated against the people of the Hindu community. We condemn in even stronger terms the government's failure to protect their blood and property, and provide them due security. We are also disturbed by reports in the media that the ruling party men are involved and in some cases leading the violence.

It is well known that under the current secular system both the Awami League alliance which gives lip service to "non-communal politics" and their partners in the ruling regime - the BNP alliance, carry out acts of repression against the people of other faiths and view them from the perspective of what political gains they can achieve from them such as their utility during elections.

It is only the Islamic ruling which can provide unfettered security for the life, blood, religion, honour and property of the people of other faiths. The Khilafah "Caliphate" is not a theocratic state for the Muslims only. Rather it is a state for all peoples and non-Muslims are treated equally as citizens of the state. They cannot be coerced to change their religion, no discriminatory policies against them can be adopted by the state nor can any type of harm be allowed to come to them. Muhammad (saw) said,

«أَلا مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا مُعَاهِدًا لَهُ ذِمَّةُ اللَّهِ وَذِمَّةُ رَسُولِهِ فَقَدْ أَخْفَرَ بِذِمَّةِ اللَّهِ، فَلا يُرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا»

"Whosoever persecuted a dhimmi (non-Muslim citizen), usurped his right or took work from him beyond his capacity or took something from him with evil intentions, I shall be a complainant against him on the Day of Judgement."

Hizb ut Tahrir calls upon the non-Muslims citizens of the country to unite with the rest of the people in demanding material support from the sincere officers in the military to overthrow the ruling Awami-BNP regime and transfer the authority to the party to establish the Islamic ruling which will implement the justice of Islam and bring an end to the oppression of the Awami-BNP. And we call upon the Muslims to perform their obligation of seeking material support from the sincere officers so that the Khilafah "Caliphate" is established soon and we may become free of the sin of not protecting the non-Muslims citizens. May Allah (swt) protect us on the Day of Judgment when RasulAllah (saw) will be a witness against us if we failed in performing our duty to protect our fellow citizens.
