James F. Dobbins, the US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, announced during a press briefing at the US Embassy in Tokyo on May 13, 2014, that the US-led military presence in Afghanistan will remain "significant" despite this year's draw-down. Dobbins' announcement is certainly no cause for celebration. After suffering over twelve years of American occupation, Afghanistan is in severe crisis, and the suffering will continue.

Nawaz Sharif visited Iran from 11th May to 12th May 2014 after an interval of sixteen years. It was his first official visit of Iran after assuming Office of Prime Minister of Pakistan last year. Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Iran would work jointly for peace and security in the region. He termed Pakistan-Iran ties as special in nature because of their common traditions and history. Iran and Pakistan have signed eight memoranda of understanding/ agreements to greatly enhance their cooperation in various fields.
Comment:
This visit took place at a very crucial point when America wants all its agents to provide support to halt the blessed revolution in Syria. Ties had been weak for many years, as Iran came under increasingly restrictive international sanctions over its disputed nuclear program. When Iran was proclaimed as part of the axis of evil over the nuclear program, for many many years, America allowed ties between Pakistan and Iran to weaken.
However, recently American took quick actions to break the deadlock over Iran's nuclear issue. This sudden change of heart and Iran's return to the international community was due to the revolution in Syria, of the last three years, which is in its character is dominated by Islamic sentiments and in harmony with the correct Islamic thought, such that the people express their thought and desire by calling "the Ummah demands the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate"".
America had not been able to deceive the people of Syria through its traditional agents in the region about moderate Islam and Democracy, as it succeeded in other areas. In order to save Bashar, US needed Iran's help, until she finds his alternate. This required a direct and more open contact between US and Iran, as compared to their covert friendly relations, since the fall of Shah of Iran. The significance of this change of heart was very obvious when Obama, declared after the signing of the nuclear deal with Iran, that "The first step that we have taken today marks the most significant and tangible progress that we have made with Iran since I took office... today's announcement is just a first step, it achieves a great deal." (World News (NBC News) online, 23/11/2013).
Not surprising that once again, Raheel-Nawaz regime follows America's interests in foreign policy. Like the previous regimes of Musharaf-Aziz and Kayani-Zardari, the Raheel-Nawaz regime feels proud to move in order to secure American interests, even though it is at the cost of Islam and Muslims interests in foreign affairs. When America declared Iran to be a part of axis of evil, the regime kept the ties weak. But when Obama needed to mobilize Iran against the rise of the Khilafah "Caliphate" in Syria, the Raheel-Nawaz regime has increased its ties with Iran as a loyal service to America. Yet again, the regime is content to co-operate in sin and aggression, not fearing the consequences in this life and the next. Allah (swt) said,
((وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ))
"And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty." [Surah Al-Ma'ida 5: 2]

May 5, 2014 (KHARTOUM) - A Sudanese court has sentenced a heavily pregnant Christian woman to death by hanging and 100 lashes after convicting her on charges of apostasy and adultery. Amnesty International has described the sentence as "truly abhorrent". (Sudan Tribune, May 15, 2014) Meriam Yehya Ibrahim is eight months pregnant and currently in detention with her 20-month-old son. Her death sentence was handed down after she refused to recant her religion. "The fact that a woman has been sentenced to death for her religious choice, and to flogging for being married to a man of an allegedly different religion is appalling and abhorrent. Adultery and apostasy are acts which should not be considered crimes at all. It is flagrant breach of international human rights law," said Manar Idriss, Amnesty International's Sudan researcher. Comment:
The highly publicized case of the Sudanese Meriam Yehya Ibrahim is widespread throughout the media particularly the American and UK news outlets. This stirred quite a dialogue among Muslims in the West who are trying to wrap their heads around this issue, especially of an 8 month pregnant woman to be lashed 100 times, it is an emotionally charged issue especially with Amnesty International releasing strong condemning statements like "Amnesty International believes that Meriam is a prisoner of conscience, convicted solely because of her religious beliefs and identity, and must be released immediately and unconditionally. The right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, which includes the freedom to hold beliefs, is far-reaching and profound; it encompasses freedom of thought on all matters, personal conviction and the commitment to religion or belief."
Many Muslims outrightly declaring this is completely against Islam citing various details like being raised by her Christian mother and others trying to reason out the court verdict. The main point here is the mixed ruling system - one fully secular with a few sprinkling of Sharia rulings especially those related to apostasy and adultery. While it is important to note that Islam does not coerce anyone in the Muslim lands to convert to Islam but it does have a strict ruling against those who turn away from Islam after being Muslim. And for this there are plentiful straightforward evidences from the Quran and Sunnah.
However to mix a secular structured regime that has an undertone of Islamic inkling of rulings will not bring any form of justice to the population. As a result, we get cases like this which are completely being exploited by the West that inappropriately hurl accusations against Islam and its Sharia rulings completely ignoring the fact the regime's justice system or any of its systems for that matter have nothing to do with Islam except that it is applied by Muslims on Muslims and non-Muslims living in Sudan. In the end, the people of Sudan suffer from terrible injustices and confusion. This unfortunately left many Muslims to try to distance themselves from the wrongly misconstrued Sharia. This is a maddening situation as for a system to be judged and taken into context - the entire system must be implemented or else the end-result is catastrophic, leaving the people who love Islam and support Islam vulnerable to misguided attacks against their Sharia. And Muslims are not the only ones left with a miserable fallout from the crooked judicial systems but non-Muslims as well. Since they too are deprived from the just and compassionate Sharia of Islam which will duly protect them and protect the society of all vices be it adultery and apostasy when the Sharia is implemented in full and not with a dash of ruling here and there. As Muslims, we do not fall back on the human rights organizations to solve our problems, but we need to refer our societal problems with a system that will ward off the ills of man-made problems. Islam to be open to attack is simply unacceptable and thus Muslims and non-Muslims will only find true justice in a system free from man-made temporal self-serving interests and that justice system is solely found in Islam when implemented as a comprehensive way of life. So it is not what Amnesty International calls as flagrant - but the non-implementation of Islam by a holistic Khilafah "Caliphate" State is flagrant.

On Sunday, 18/05/2014 CE, the local police of Omdurman broke up a dialogue session organized by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, in the center of the Martyrs' Square, after an hour of its onset, and after people gathered around the session interacting with the Hizb's Shabab, eager to learn of the ideas and the rulings of Islam. The police intervened by force to break up the dialogue session, and dragged the Shab Ihab Alnkhali...
Not only were the EU countries satisfied with helping the tyrant Bashar and his associates in line with the U.S. policy, but the EU countries began to harass the Muslim communities in France and Britain... even Austria declared in 4/5/2014 that it wants to pass a law authorizing the withdrawal of the Austrian citizenship of Syrian Austrians who support the revolution in Syria...
The European politicians have forgotten the position of the Othmani Islamic State with the Christians of Europe who lived safely under the shade of the Islamic State, and the rights given to them by the Khulafa' and Sultans, and there is no stronger example on this than the great Sultan Mohammad Al-Fateh (the Conqueror), who respected the non-Muslims in Istanbul after conquering it, protected them, and established for them their own religious courts, appointing priests and judges of their religion who were paid their salaries. The non-Muslims lived under the shade of the Khilafah "Caliphate" State in safety and peace although they did not believe in the Islamic Aqeedah, and were not forced into it. Europe, however, wants the Muslims to submit to its Democracy which separates Deen from life, pressuring them into accepting Capitalism and its immoral values like gay-marriages, adultery, and other capital crimes in Islam.
It is natural that the Capitalist civilization plunges in this form after it failed in bringing happiness to people, in solving their problems, and in preventing international crises, for it brought calamities upon humanity through devastating wars which were never witnessed in history which killed millions of innocent lives, and it sided with oppressive regimes against their revolting nations against their oppression in Tunisia, Libya and Yemen. Here it is now siding with the criminal of this age Bashar, participating in preventing the entry of weapons to the Muslim revolts, and remains quiet over the massive arms shipments given by Russia, China and Iran to Bashar. It does not criminalize Iran for killing the Muslims in Syria, but it criminalizes whoever reaches out to help the oppressed, and passes laws of trapping whoever supports the revolution, by passing this law of withdrawing citizenships. Indeed, Allah (swt) said the truth in describing their likes: ((وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ)) "They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise". [Al-Burooj: 8]. And since this matter is related to the war against Islam, the stances of the European opposition parties were no different to the stances of their governments, they are all alike in their conspiracy against Islam and the Muslims.
Oh Muslims, Oh Sons of the Revolution of Al-Sham in the European Union: Europe's politicians have left no chance for you to give them the benefit of the doubt. Here they are in the midst of the Ukrainian clashes and in the State of South Sudan, while they are supporting the criminal Bashar in Syria where tens and hundreds of martyrs of men, women and children fall every day, while they are watching... We from here, from Syria, call upon those who appointed themselves as representatives of the Muslim communities in Europe to fear Allah and stand by the truth, announcing their rejection to these decisions, that aim at dividing Muslims, scattering them in Europe, and killing them in Syria, and to side by the Muslim communities, rejecting Europe's policies against the people of Syria and the Syrian Europeans, or those residing in Europe. And let them know that they are a strong force if they were obedient to Allah (swt) and were sincere to Him (swt), and that The Strong, The Mighty, will save them from the unjust people as He saved Musa (as) and those who were with him from Pharaoh and his army. Allah (swt) said:
((وَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ الْبَحْرَ فَأَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ)) "and when We cleft the sea before you, and thus saved you and caused Pharaoh's people to drown before your very eyes" [Al-Baqarah: 50]
((إِنَّ فِي هَذَا لَبَلَاغًا لِقَوْمٍ عَابِدِينَ))
"Herein, behold, there is a message for people who [truly] worship Allah" [Al-Anbiya: 106]
