Abdurahim Toshmatov was sentenced to 17 years of imprisonment simply for the sincere call to Islam together with Hizb ut Tahrir. Previously, he was sentenced to one year of imprisonment on a fabricated charge in extremism. The Special Services officers visited Abdurahim in the colony where he was serving time and threatened to start a new criminal case against him if he did not quit Hizb ut Tahrir.
