On the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah of Turkey sent its congratulations to the Islamic Ummah. In the message, the Ummah was reminded of the destruction of the Caliphate in 1342 Hijri and the plight of the Ummah since its destruction. The message noted that even though the Muslims are over 1 billion in number they have little power or influence in the world.
The message recalled that the Muslim Ummah are "the best Ummah brought forth from mankind" when they live by the Shariah and follow the guidance of the Messenger of Allah (saw). The hadith of the Messenger (saw) was recalled:
"The People will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their food." Someone asked, "Will that be because of our small numbers at that time?" He replied, "No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be froth and scum like that carried down by a torrent (of water), and Allah will take the fear of you from the breasts (hearts) of your enemy and cast al-wahn into your hearts." Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is al-wahn?" He replied, "Love of the world and dislike of death." -
Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah of Turkey explains in the message how the rulers of the Muslim world have assisted the brutal attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan, the occupation of the Islamic lands and the plundering of the wealth of the Ummah. It reminds the Muslims that the establishment of the Caliphate is one of the greatest obligations imposed by Allah (swt). It will raise the banner of Jihad, protect the lives, honour and property and return the dignity to the Ummah. Since the Ummah lost the Khilafah "Caliphate", the month of Ramadhan was filled with blood and tears, hunger, humiliation and occupation. In the presence of the Khilafah "Caliphate", Ramadhan was the month of victory and conquest.
The message concluded by wishing all the Muslims a blessed Eid ul-Fitr Mubarak and praying that the next Eid ul-Adha will be celebrated under the shade of the Islamic Caliphate.
