Indian Exercises are to Divert Attention of the Public from Anger at the Government O Gillani, Who Congratulates America on its Victory, How Can You Speak of Independence?

After the Abbotobad operation exposed both the military and political leadership, a political vacuum has opened up to such an extent that both America and India are fearful. They both know that this political vacuum could be the trigger for real change, through the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate", at a time when the sincere officers have realized the trick played by their leaders. This is the reason that whilst criticizing Pakistan severely,

Greek Euro Exit Would Be Disaster, Papaconstantinou Tells Stampa
Abandoning the euro would be a disaster for Greece, Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou told the Italian newspaper La Stampa in an interview this week. "Consequences would be catastrophic," Papaconstantinou told the newspaper, saying public debt would double, consumers' purchasing power would be "shattered," banks would collapse and the country would fall into a "war-like recession." The country will continue implementing its recovery plan, Papaconstantinou told the newspaper. Should that not be enough, Greece may ask for intervention from the European Financial Stability Facility in 2012, he said.

Syria tanks 'shell' protest city of Homs
Tanks have been shelling Syria's third biggest city, Homs, as security forces continue their crackdown on nationwide anti-government protests, BBC reports say. Activists said there had been gunfire and explosions in the district of Bab Amr and nearby villages, killing at least nine people and wounding dozens. Towns around the southern city of Deraa have been raided and the coastal town of Baniyas remains cut off. Thousands have reportedly been arrested and hundreds killed in the crackdown. The Syrian government has insisted it is pursuing "armed terrorist gangs", and blamed them for the deaths of two soldiers on Wednesday. Meanwhile, international pressure has caused Syria to drop its plans to run for a seat on the UN Human Rights Council. Kuwait would take its place, India's deputy permanent representative Manjeev Singh Puri said.UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on President Bashar al-Assad to "heed calls for reform and freedom and to desist from excessive force and mass arrest of peaceful demonstrators".Mr Ban said he was disappointed that a UN humanitarian team had not yet been allowed into Deraa, where the unrest began in mid-March.

Gulf bloc welcomes more kings, demands Yemen deal
The six Gulf monarchies Tuesday responded to Arab uprisings by agreeing to expand their regional grouping to include pro-Western Jordan and Morocco and urged a quick political deal in Yemen. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) welcomed bids by the two Arab kingdoms to join the six-nation grouping of Gulf monarchies, its secretary general Abdullatif al-Zayani said. "Leaders of the GCC welcomed the request of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to join the council and instructed the foreign ministers to enter into negotiations to complete the procedures," Zayani told reporters. He said the same procedure would be followed with Morocco. His remarks came after a summit in Riyadh of the GCC, which groups Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, discussed relations with Iran, the unrest in Yemen -- the Arabian Peninsula's only republican state -- and the tensions sweeping the region. The heads of state demanded that all sides in Yemen, which has limited observer status in the GCC, sign a transition plan brokered by the bloc. "The council urged all parties in Yemen to sign the agreement which is the best way out of the crisis and spare the country further political division and deterioration of security," the GCC leaders said in a joint statement.

US to withdraw 70,000 troops from Afghanistan in next three years in favour of special forces
America would withdraw 70,000 troops from Afghanistan over the next three years and rely increasingly on special forces to lead operations in plans being discussed by the White House. America has 100,000 troops in Afghanistan and the killing of Osama bin Laden has rekindled debate on how many are needed now al Qaeda has been decapitated. The US has become increasingly reliant on special forces troops in the 12 months, with Gen David Petraeus crediting raids against militant leaders with helping blunt Taliban momentum. He has also used units to train Afghanistan's own special forces and help raise Afghan local police militia units. Advocates of special forces teams have also been emboldened by the success of the US Navy SEALS operation against bin Laden. Leon Panetta, the CIA director nominated to replace Robert Gates as defence secretary, is also said to favour use of special forces and unmanned drones rather than large numbers of troops waging a costly, counter insurgency campaign. Under the outline plan, America would keep 20,000 to 30,000 troops on the ground by the end of 2014, when Nato has said it will hand over the combat lead to Kabul.

India puts Pakistani army officers on "most wanted" list
India has named five Pakistani army officers in a list of 50 criminals it wants extradited to stand trial on terror charges, the first time India has directly accused serving Pakistani military officers of being involved with militancy. The "most-wanted list" was handed to Pakistan in March, but its contents have only just been released. The timing of the release coincides with increasing pressure on Pakistan over claims it harbored Osama bin Laden. Indian Home Secretary G.K. Pillai presented the list to his Pakistani counterpart, Qamar Zaman Choudhary, during a meeting in March, a senior government official with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters. New Delhi has long accused Pakistan of harboring militants such as the those behind the Mumbai attacks in 2008 that killed 166 people, who it says were supported by the country's military intelligence agency, the ISI. In addition to five serving majors in the Pakistan army, the list includes accused underworld leader Dawood Ibrahim, and suspected members of militant groups al Qaeda, Lakshar-e-Toiba and Jasih-e-Mohammed.

Malaysian Prime Minister: Accept Islam as the official religion
Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak said everyone must accept the fact that Islam is the official religion of the country and that it cannot be changed in whatever form. "This is because the reality is that we have the Federal Constitution and its provision on the position of Islam and the other religions is very clear," Najib told the media after meeting with 22 Muslim leaders and intellectuals, here today. "Under whatever circumstances, the Federal Constitution cannot be amended and as such, no one should be worried or feel uneasy on this matter," he said. Najib said that during his hour-long meeting with the Muslim leaders, several current issues were discussed including the issue on "changing" the official religion of the country as reported earlier."I normally meet with the Muslim leaders from time to time. But under the present circumstances, it is most important for me to meet this group and we again discuss the issue as well as other things," he said.

"Israel Hungers for More"

  • Published in Politics
  •   |

The Authority of so called "Israel" is trying to ban the Al-Aqsa Mosque from raising the call of prayer (adzan). They claim the adzan disturbs the "Israeli" settlers. They have been complaining for years about the adzan, claiming that it wakes them up in the middle of the night.
Furthermore, groups from the "Israeli" community want the Al-Aqsa Mosque to be closed until an "Israeli" soldier is released who was captured by Hamas in 2006. "Israel" has ripped Muslims from their homes; they want more of Jerusalem to accompany the growing number of Jewish settlers. This is forcing Muslim families to abandon their homes in Jerusalem.
"Israel" prohibits the prayer in Jerusalem to those over the age of fifteen from the West Bank. The only ones that are able to enter are over the age of fifty and ones who have special permits. "Israel" wants to demolish the Al-Aqsa Mosque and is slowly doing so. There are visual cracks in the mosque and these cracks are becoming larger due to the digging that is being done under the mosque. The "Israelis" keep digging claiming Prophet Sulayman's temple is under the mosque.
Umar ibn Al-Khattab (ra) conquered Jerusalem paving the way for Islam to spread to Al-Sham. Another individual that again came to the rescue for Muslims and non-Muslims was Salah Aldeen Al-Ayobi who expelled the European Christians from Jerusalem. Muslims, Jews, and Christians all lived in harmony under the Islamic rule. How does "Israel" repay the Muslims for their protection and allowing them to live in harmony? It does this by accumulating Jews worldwide and placing them in Palestine, banning the adzan, torturing the Muslims living in Palestine, destroying their homes, arresting women, children, and men.

Think not that those who exult in what they have given, and love to be praised for what they have not done - Think not, they are in safety from the doom. A painful doom is theirs (3-188) And:
أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ حَقًّا وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا (151)النساء

Those are the disbelievers, truly. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment. (4-151)

However, historically Palestine proves over and over that it always belonged to the Muslims. The first Qiblah in Islam was the Aqsa Mosque and was the second mosque to be built. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) ascended to Heaven on the day of Israa wal Mi'raj from Jerusalem. Salah Aldeen Al-Ayobi conquered Jerusalem a second time and Muslims victoriously claimed the Holy Land. Muslims have had the right to Palestine for more than 1400 years.
Theodor Herzl , the founder of the Zionist Movement planned with the West to place the Jews into Palestine. However, before that Herzl asked the Khaleefah Abdul-Hamid II to give Palestine to the Jews but the Khilafah "Caliphate" refused to spare one inch of the sacred land to the kaffir. Politicians claim it is Israel's land that historically their Jewish ancestors lived in Palestine. However, strategically Palestine was the best location for the West so Israel can monitor the Muslims and allow them to never unify into one Ummah being a thorn in the heart of the Muslim lands.
Palestine is not for the Palestinians alone, it is an Islamic land and an Islamic holy site. Palestine can again be a part of the Islamic State with the help of the Khilafah "Caliphate". However, Muslims need to strive for the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" so Jerusalem can be returned to the Muslims. Muslims would never worry about any kaffir from banning the Adzan to be called. Muslims would never face any borders hindering them from praying in Jerusalem, the third holiest site in the Islamic State. Muslims can listen to the Quran recitation before the Adzan, which in many areas has been also banned. Inshallah, the Khilafah "Caliphate" soon will be established and rid the oppressors from the land of the Israa wal Miraj.

{It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allah forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zalimun.} (Al-Mumtahanah: 9)

US wants to give frozen Libyan assets to rebels
The US is trying to free up part of $30 billion it has frozen in Libyan assets so it can better support the opponents of Muammar Gaddafi, US Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton told a conference on Thursday on Libya. Twenty-two nations and international organizations met in Rome to figure out how to help the Libyan rebels, who say they need up to $3 billion in the coming months for military salaries, food, medicine and other basic supplies. Clinton said the Obama administration, working with Congress, wants "to tap some portion of those assets owned by Gaddafi and the Libyan government in the US, so we can make those funds available to help the Libyan people." The US has already pledged $53 million in humanitarian aid and authorized up to $25 million in non-lethal assistance to the rebels, including medical supplies, boots, tents, rations and protective gear. The first shipment is to arrive in the western, rebel-held city of Benghazi in the coming days. Clinton declared that ousting Gaddafi was still a top goal. "We have made it abundantly clear that the best way to protect civilians is for Gaddafi to cease his ruthless, brutal attack on civilians from the west to the east, to withdraw from the cities that he is besieging and attacking and to leave power," Clinton said. "This is the outcome we are seeking," she added. The Rome conference agreed to establish an internationally monitored fund the rebels can access to provide basic things like food and medicine. Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, co-host of the Contact Group conference, said nations have already pledged $250 million in humanitarian aid.

Syria Protests Spread Amid Widespread Detentions
As many as 8,000 Syrians are missing in the country after security forces intensified home raids and detentions on anti-regime protesters since Friday, according to a human-rights group, and others have been released following what it describes severe torture. But the regime's continued use of force to squash the protest movement has instigated a new set of voices-among them students in Syria's two largest cities-protesting the crackdown itself. On Wednesday, security forces detained several students from Aleppo University after hundreds of students marched through streets around the university in the northern city, calling for a lift of the military siege on Deraa, activists said.

GCC-backed Yemen deal 'postponed'
The signing ceremony for a deal to end Yemen's political crisis has been postponed indefinitely after the country's president refused to sign it personally, the Associated Press has reported. Ahmed Khalifa al-Kaabi, a media official for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the six Gulf Arab nations sponsoring the agreement, said their foreign ministers would meet in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Sunday to try to find a way to salvage a deal. Al-Kaabi's citing of Saleh's refusal to personally sign the deal indicated the GCC blamed him for the deadlock. Government officials said Saleh had told GCC secretary-general Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani on Saturday that he intended to ratify the deal after sending a close aide and a senior ruling party official to sign it. The standoff between Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the hundreds of thousands of street protesters demanding his immediate departure after 32 years in office threatens to pull the impoverished and fragile nation into greater disorder. The GCC offered a deal that calls for Saleh to step down within 30 days and for the ruling party and the opposition to come together in a national unity government. In exchange, Saleh would get immunity from prosecution. Yemen's opposition parties, which had initially agreed to the deal, said they would not sign it if Saleh refused to do so personally. For their part, representatives of those staging anti-government demonstrations since early February have rejected the deal outright, demanding that Saleh immediately step down and face trial for the killings of protesters and corruption.

Republican calling on US president to withdraw from Afghanistan
With Osama bin Laden dead and concern about the national debt growing, U.S. Rep. James McGovern is renewing his efforts to get the president to begin withdrawing U.S. forces from Afghanistan. "Now that bin Laden is dead and al-Qaida is scattered across the globe, does it really make sense to keep using over 100,000 U.S. troops to occupy Afghanistan and prop up a corrupt government?" McGovern said Thursday at a news conference. In an interview with The Sun Chronicle, McGovern, D-Worcester, said he is refilling a bipartisan bill that would require the president to submit to Congress a withdrawal plan and provide 90-day updates on how the withdrawal is being accomplished. A similar measure last year got 162 votes in the 435-member House, but McGovern said he believes support is growing. Seven Republicans are co-sponsors as conservatives become concerned about the cost of the war. "We are borrowing $8.2 billion a month for Afghanistan. Some deficit hawks are looking at it from the fiscal vantage point that it is bankrupting us," McGovern said. McGovern said the war in Afghanistan is now the longest in U.S. history and it is time for Afghanistan to take care of its own affairs. U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, is among those calling for a withdrawal. "The elimination of Osama bin Laden should now prompt us to bring our troops home from Afghanistan and Iraq," Paul said Wednesday on the House floor.

Pakistan threatens to cut military co-operation with 'gung-ho' U.S.
Pakistan threatened to cut military co-operation with America yesterday as recriminations flew over the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. The country's army chief demanded cuts in the number of U.S. personnel on Pakistani soil and said ties would be slashed altogether if another anti-terrorist raid was launched there. General Ashfaq Kayani, who is seen as more powerful than Pakistan's civilian leaders, was voicing widespread anger at U.S. claims that the country's intelligence agency, the ISI, sheltered Bin Laden for a decade. He told colleagues that a decision had been made to reduce the number of U.S. military personnel to the ‘minimum essential' levels. A spokesman said General Kayani ‘made it clear that any similar action violating the sovereignty of Pakistan will warrant a review on the level of military intelligence co-operation with the United States'. Earlier, the Pakistan government warned of ‘disastrous consequences' if the U.S. staged a similar attack on its territory. But a senior British source said the U.S. would ignore the threats and launch another raid to capture or kill Bin Laden's deputy Ayman Al Zawahiri - the new head of Al Qaeda - if they located him in Pakistan. ‘He's next and they'll get him if they can, however many feathers it ruffles,' one official said. ‘It has always been likely that he is in Pakistan.' The source said that General Kayani's comments were ‘intended for internal consumption'.
