The Democratic Republic of Congo is home to the largest supply of cobalt, a crucial metal used in the production of lithium-ion batteries for phones, tablets, and electric cars. In 2022, the Congolese cobalt reserves were estimated at around four million metric tons, primarily located in the eastern part of the country, while the global reserves amount to 8.3 million tons. As the demand for cobalt continues to rise, its possession has become highly sought after.

Modi the Butcher of Indian Muslims Opens the Largest Hindu Temple in the UAE

Last week, India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi inaugurated UAE’s largest Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, in a bid to increase his popularity ahead of India’s general elections scheduled for May 2024 [1]. The building of the temple started in 2019, and despite the mistreatment of India’s 200 million plus Muslims by Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) relations between the UAE and India have blossomed.
