Under the patronage of Daniel Capoli, the Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission in Yemen, the ICRC in Sana'a organized, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 20–21/05/2025, in cooperation with the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a training course at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for media and press institution staff.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed that approximately 60,000 cholera cases have been recorded in Sudan, resulting in more than 1640 deaths, warning of the consequences of the collapse of the country's health system. This revelation comes as cholera is spreading rapidly in Khartoum State, where new infections exceed 90% of the country's total, particularly in Karari, Omdurman, and Ombada.
