The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, announced that the retail price of diesel in the Peninsula has been raised by 80 cents to RM5.52 per litre, 

The Prime Minister Kamil Idris directed not to add any fees or new taxes at the crossings, and he also directed the governmental entities, represented in the Ministry of Finance, Customs, Taxes, the States, and the Crossings Administration, to put the directive into immediate implementation.
