The Khimar is the crown of the Muslim woman and the Khilafah Rashidah  is the crown of the Islamic Ummah

The political pressure applied by the godless secular Turkish republic from the first day it has separated Islam from lifes affairs, and abolished the Khilafah "Caliphate" system and until today it practises the same politics but in different forms and guises. The godless Turkish republic has polluted even the air that it itself breathes. It has not stopped attacking whatever remains of our Islamic values which have yet not been polluted. Why should it not be so since it has taken the Khimar, which Allah has obliged upon free Muslim women, as a target for its attack in recent years.

This godless secular state, known for its dictatorship and oppression of its people, from the day it was established has harboured a latent hatred of the Khimar. As a result of applying secular policies, a class lacking a district personality and cut off from their culture are ashamed of the religion of their society in which they live and they reject categorically the existence of an entity for the Khimar of Muslim women in this society. This latent hatred, shame and rejection have reached its highest degrees where they have created the concept of 'public areas' in relation to the wearing of Khimar. 

That which this class perpetrated is not unexpected, for it follows the footsteps of 'Ataturk!' and his henchmen who hanged thousands of Muslims in the gallows because they refused to wear the top hat, and they committed the most ugliest massacres against Muslims mercilessly. 

He (swt) said:

[إِن يَثْقَفُوكُمْ يَكُونُوا لَكُمْ أَعْدَاء وَيَبْسُطُوا إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَلْسِنَتَهُم بِالسُّوءِ وَوَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ]

'Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve.' [60:2]

This oppressive class that has embraced by heart and mind in the creed of separating religion from life, which is a kufr creed has declared war against anything Islamic. Its execution of those massacres from its first day; and its hatred and disparagement of the Khimar and preparation of special rooms for those who wear the Khimar as if they have some kind of infectious disease and forcing them to stand at the gates of schools, banning them from entering; all of this is the biggest evidence of this. The likes of this class, whether those in the past or those present that carry unjust and vile concepts, they are the only ones that justify their criminal acts: 

He (swt) said: 

[قَالَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ تَشَابَهَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ]

'So said the people before them words of similar import. Their hearts are alike, We have indeed made plain the signs for people who believe with certainty.' [2:118]

Thus, O Muslim sisters; 

Continue to stand as anchored mountains before the injustice of those Taghuts and their threats. Oppose their threat, which is alien to Islam just as the first pious Muslim women believers stood before. Hold onto your Khimar, which Allah (swt) has obliged on you, and which is like a crown on your heads, whatever the sacrifices involved. Follow the way of the early believing women about whom our mother 'Aisha (ra) spoke. It is reported in the Sunan of Abu Dawud on the authority of Safiyyah bint Shaybah that

أنها ذكرت نساء الأنصار فأثنت عليهن وقالت لهن معروفاً وقالت، لما نزلت سورة النور عمدن إلى حجور أو حجوز -شك أبو كامل- فشققنهن فاتخذنه خمرا

'A'isha (ra) mentioned the women of Ansar, praised them and said good words about them. She then said: "When Surat an-Nur came down, they took the curtains, tore them and made head covers of them." 

If you kept this crown, took good care of it and remained patient on it, then you will be like your sister Sumayyah the first shaheedah of Islam, like Umm Salamah (ra) who decided to make Hijrah to Madinah with her husband but her people stopped her, and snatched her and her son from him and so he had to go on his own. Then Abu Asad, the family of Asad, forcefully took her son from her until they dislocated his hand, and separated the son from his mother. Thus, the family was divided from each other and endured a great affliction. However, Umm Salamah (ra) remained patient for the sake of Allah until Allah relieved her from her distress. And you will be like the two Sahabiyah who gave bay'ah to the Messenger (saw) with those men who gave bay'ah at the second bay'ah of al-'Aqabah; Asmaa Umm Muniyyah and Naseebah Umm 'Imaarah, and like the other great Sahabiyyaat who held a dignified position and stance in the support of the Deen of Allah. 

The hardship you endure for holding onto the Khimar are but signs of the relief and salvation that are so near. How can that not be when the Messenger of Allah (saw) read His (swt) saying: 

[فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا، إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا]

'Verily, with the hardship, there is relief.' [94:6] 

He (saw) said: 

"عسرٌ واحد، لن يغلب يسرين؟"

'One hardship cannot overcome two reliefs.' 

O traitorous rulers, O you who have come to power by the votes of the Muslims and then betrayed them: 

How much you have become accustomed to be silent like the silence of the graves and the dead. How much you have become used to a life of humiliation and disgrace. You started to kiss the hands, which have been raised and have committed aggression against the Khimar of modesty and purity. You came to feel no shame and do not fear Allah where you appeared in the television programme that was prepared by the most hateful to Islam and the Muslims. They are those who have defamed the modest and pure believing women and accused them of fornication and indecency. You came out declaring without shame: 'there is a problem in respect to the Khimar in Turkey and as I always say: we have two things in order to solve this dilemma, first is social harmony and second, harmony of state institutions. Currently we have social harmony where Muslims want the Khimar; but unfortunately the second has not been realised yet, i.e. the agreement of the state has not been achieved yet. When the second matter is realised then this dilemma will be resolved without tension.' 

Erdogan, who came to power as Prime Minister, why he did not realize the second thing? There is no reason except he is restricted by the teachings of the enemies of Islam and America at the forefront? The Sharee'ah dress code, the Jilbab and the Khimar, is a fard obliged by Allah (swt), like the obligation of prayer and fasting; so it does not require at all any type of discussion, harmony or agreement. The only reason which makes these rulers seek harmony in the wearing of the Khimar is their fear of the godless Kamalist secular class and their fulfillment to the pleasure of their masters- the kuffar colonialist under the leadership of America, more than their fear of Allah and more than their desire to please Allah. These are the rulers that Allah (swt) described as: 

[إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللّهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً]

'Behold! a section of them fear men as they fear Allâh or even more.' [4:77]

O Muslims of Turkey:

You have seen the rulers who govern you work hard to please America and shake the dirty hands that are still dripping with the blood of the Muslims. Moreover, they do not do the least of their duty to protect the Khimar and the modesty of our Muslim women. How much are the humiliation and disgrace that started to surround them. At the same time they send their daughters to America to receive a university education, they stand content to see the tears of poor female Muslim students who are banned from entering their schools because they wear the Khimar. 

Once again you have seen what has happened in Erzurum, where mothers have been banned from attending the graduation of their sons from university unless they took off their Khimar as a condition for entering the university and attending their children's graduation! How can you accept a blatant war declared against the khimar of your women? How can you stay silent without moving to help your Deen and to cover your women?!

The basis of the problem of Khimar lies in the presence of the godless Turkish secular republic itself. As long as this rotten regime continues there will be no radical solution, neither for the problem of Khimar and nor for any of the other problems that result from its existence. 

Resuming the Islamic way of life through establishing the State of the second Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah is the guarantee for realizing the radical solution to all the issues. The following two incidents reported to us, which took place at the time when there was an Islamic way of life, are best evidence to that:

Ibn Hisham reported in his Seerah that the expedition of Bani Qaynuqa' took place for the following reason:

"كان من أمر بني قينقاع أن امرأة من العرب قدمت بجلب لها، فباعته بسوق بني قينقاع، وجلست إلى صائغ بها، فجعلوا يريدونها على كشف وجهها، فأبت فعمد الصائغ إلى طرف ثوبها فعقده إلى ظهرها، فلما قامت انكشفت سوأتها، فضحكوا بها، فصاحت. فوثب رجل من المسلمين على الصائغ فقتله وكان يهودياً، وشدت اليهود على المسلم فقتلوه فاستصرخ أهل المسلم المسلمين على اليهود..."

'It happened in Banu Qaynuqaa' that a woman from the Arabs brought her cattle, and sold it in the market of Banu Qaynuqaa'. Then she sat before a jeweler, where they wanted her to uncover her face but she refused. The jeweler took the side of her dress and fixed it to her back. When she stood up her awra was revealed. So they laughed at her. She cried for help; so a man from amongst the Muslims jumped over the jeweler and killed him, where he was a Jew. The Jews attacked the Muslim and killed him. So the family of the Muslim cried for the help of Muslims against the Jews...' 

The books of history record that in the year 223 AH that 'Ammuriyyah (present day Ankara) was conquered. It was under the sovereignty of the Roman Empire. It was conquered by the huge armies because of the aggression of the Romans against the Khimar of a Muslim woman. That woman, who cried out for the Khaleefah of the Muslims, al-Mu'tasim Billah, the son of ar-Rasheed, the Khaleefah, as soon as he heard her cry for help, he responded to her and mobilized a huge army towards 'Ammuriyyah, conquered it and gave the enemies a painful lesson. 

The khimar is the crown of the Muslim woman, just as the Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah that protects the honour of the Muslims is the crown of the Islamic Ummah. Hizb ut-Tahrir will not stop from working day and night to regain for the Islamic Ummah her crown that befits the best Ummah brought forth for mankind. 

The establishment of the second Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah, by Allah's leave and help, has become much closer. The door has been broken and the locks have started to be broken one after the other. It will not be long before the door is fully open.

So, respond; and spend your utmost in this goodness. Remove from you the dust of the dead which they threw upon you so that you can see the sun of the second Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah, which will enlighten the entire world that has descended into the depths of pitch darkness.

Answer the call and work with the sincere sons of the Ummah, the carriers of the truth, who work for the honour of this world and the hereafter. 

Answer the call and respond to the call of Islam which Hizb ut-Tahrir proclaims that will give you life. Fill this polluted atmosphere and this miserable life with the light, justice and purity of Islam.

[وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ، بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ]

'And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice.' [30:4]
