A delegation of members of Hizb ut Tahrir Britain attended the embassies of Turkey and Egypt to deliver statements of protest regarding the crisis of Masjid al-Aqsa. The delegation members had the opportunity to discuss the issue with embassy staff who expressed their sympathy and concern for the situation in al-Aqsa, but were not able to point to any concrete steps taken by their governments to confront the occupiers.

Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Turkey held its traditional annual iftar under the title “Ramadan Time of Unity 2017”, which was attended by a great number of representatives of politics, NGOs and media, as well as journalists, businessmen, academicians, and authors. The iftar organisation took place in Istanbul's Fatih district.
