USA Resumes War Crimes in Afghanistan
(Translated)

During his speech on the so called Independence Day Celebration, President Ghani shouted that “Afghanistan will never allow anyone to dictate its foreign policy”. This comes at a time when US colonial forces, in the aftermath of signing the illegal strategic and security pacts with Ghani's government, have once again returned to the battlefield and have started using B-52 bombers against the people of Afghanistan.

General Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, recently said that after ten years, US forces are once again using B-52 bombers against “terrorists” in Afghanistan. Before that the US also used cruise missiles against so called “terrorists”. It is worth mentioning here that from June onwards, US forces have conducted 140 airstrikes and have dropped 800 bombs. According to a recent report of the “cost of war” project, in the last 15 years, the US has killed over 173 thousand people in Afghanistan and Pakistan. According to a UN report, only in the first 6 months of 2016, 1601 people have been killed and 3565 people have been injured, two third of them children.

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Afghanistan strongly condemns the brutality of the US forces wreaked upon the Muslims of Afghanistan. It is worth noting that with the help of the “unity government” they want to drive people into ethnic, tribalistic, nationalistic and proxy wars. All this is done to extend their stay in Afghanistan by fueling the war between the people of Afghanistan. In this way, the aim is to keep people confused and divert their attention from real issues such as the occupation and the US strategic and colonial motives in the region.

Not surprisingly, the US actions have not resulted in strengthening of military institutions of Afghanistan, or equipping these forces properly. On contrary, there has been relentless efforts to push Afghans into a civil war, and consequently ensure their long term military and intelligence presence in Afghanistan to protect their regional interests.

To achieve all this, America is using the coward “unity government” to control the brave nation of Afghanistan. Surprisingly, the John Kerry appointed President who ensures the survival of his regime with the help of US B-52 bombers, says to armed opponents of the regime and US occupation forces, "Do not enter the area of lions, expect that they will behave like fox".
