"Ghost Money" The Cost of Tyrant Politicians in Western Markets

New York Times in its latest issue of April 29, stated that for more than a decade, bundles of American dollars packed into suitcases, backpacks and, on occasion, plastic shopping bags have been dropped off every month or so at the offices of Afghanistan's president. They were used for influencing ex-Mujahidin leaders or current democrats. All speak of tens of millions of dollars having flowed from the C.I.A. to the office of President Hamid Karzai, according to current and former advisers to the Afghan leader. "We called it ‘ghost money,' " said Khalil Roman, who served as Mr. Karzai's chief of staff from 2002 until 2005. "The US is the main supporter of corruption in Afghanistan," said a US official. Various reports, published in recent years exposed millions of dollars called "Ghost Money" that are dropped off to the president's office by Iran and other countries in order to ensure their interest.

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Afghanistan highlights the "ghost money" as the highest market price of the installed tyrant and puppet leaders in Afghanistan. They are supposed to ensure the interest of their American masters rather than taking care of the affairs of the Ummah. Like Musharraf, when they fail to achieve these interests, their masters cast them aside shamefully. Similar to the attempts of the sold rulers to implement man-made ideology (democracy), every single seat in the ministries has its specific price among the MPs and the government. Furthermore, every directorate inside ministries along with local offices in the provinces has their special prices. Inside the Ministry of Interior, its headquarters and its sub-offices have their specific prices. Even check-posts inside cities, streets and vendors have to pay the government thugs.

Hizb ut Tahrir calls upon the Muslims of Afghanistan to rise and mobilize against the corrupt, man-made way of life and corrupt rulers. Democracy has failed to solve the human problems that exist in the West and is now failing in the Islamic Lands. Therefore, we ask you to join our political and intellectual struggle based on the footprints of Rasoolullah (saw) to bring back our way of life, our system which is the Khilafah "Caliphate" state and our rulers as it has been made obligatory by the lord of the universe. Only through the adoption of this method, we will be able to achieve success in the Hereafter.
