We Offer our Deepest Condolences on the Martyrdom of Hamid ur Rahman Sharifi, a Dawah Carrier of Hizb ut Tahrir!
(Translated)

Hamid ur Rahman Sharifi, a Dawah carrier of Hizb ut Tahrir, was martyred on 8 August due to a striking missile resulting from an intense conflict in Kunduz province.

[إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

“We belong to Allah and to Allah we return”!

Sharifi, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, was one of the active Dawah carriers of Hizb ut Tahrir who tirelessly made sincere sacrifices in the call for the establishment of Khilafah (Caliphate) based on the method of Prophethood. May Allah (swt) accept his martyrdom and place him among the martyrs who gave Nussrah to Islam in the beginning.

The current war in Afghanistan is the result of twenty years of US occupation which, under the guise of war on terror, was actually waged against Islam and the Muslims. Hence, from the onset, the US strategy and intention in Afghanistan was not to ensure stability and peace here, but to confront the values of Islam by oppressing the Muslims of this geography.

There is no doubt that the US has failed in Afghanistan despite spending billions of dollars, making every one of them from George W. Bush to Obama and from Trump to Joe Biden to suffer desperate frustrations. The flames of war in every street and backstreet of Afghanistan, such as Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya, reflect the US intention which has been aimed at destabilizing this land. Those who have trusted the US over the past twenty years must have realized the consequences of collaborating with the occupation as to what has the occupation done with the fate of the people so far. The occupation did not only reduce war and insecurity but enormously heightened the scope of corruption, poverty, unemployment, migration and most importantly, spread Western values in the Ummah.

For the time being, dozens and/or even hundreds of innocent people are being killed or injured everyday as a result of severe conflict and American B-52 bomber airstrikes. In addition, scores of people are being displaced from their homes on a daily basis.

The political leaders, influentials and scholars must keep in mind that the 20 years of US and Western occupation which has resulted in the killings of Afghans and war crimes in this land. Stand against them and their stooges so that this corrupt Western system, accompanied by war, oppression and misery is removed from the face of our land. Hence, do work with the Dawah carriers of Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Caliphate on the method of Prophethood, a system which pleases Allah swt as well as protects the lives, property, honor and sanctities of the people. As Hamid ur Rahman Sharifi was one of those Dawah carriers whose purpose was to help revive an Islamic life. It is indeed due to the sacrifices of Dawah carries as we see thousands of them are struggling to bring an Islamic life throughout Afghanistan.

[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا]

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to martyrdom], and among them is he who awaits [his chance to submit his soul to Allah]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration.”[Al-Ahzab: 23].
