Without Khilafah, the Members of the ‘Chosen Ummah’ Would Drown in Seas!
(Translated)

The ANSA News Agency, an Italian media outlet, has reported that 60 refugees, many of whom are citizens of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran, have lost their lives following the sinking of a ship in the sea of Italy. The ship was carrying 250 refugees that sank in the sea of Crotone, Italy after colliding with a rock. Meanwhile, the Bulgarian police announced last Sunday, February 19, 2023, that bodies of 18 Afghan citizens were found inside a cargo truck. It was believed that refugees lost their lives due to the lack of oxygen.

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Afghanistan while expressing its deepest regret reminds that these are just tiny examples of the misery and agony the chosen Ummah is suffering from – a nation that has been entrusted by Allah (swt) with the responsibility of serving the people around the world:

[كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ]

“You are the best of peoples [Oh followers of Mohammad], evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah.” [Aali Imran: 110].

As long as this chosen Ummah fulfilled its responsibility and obligation by having the Islamic system and state established, they used to move towards Europe like conquerors, reaching the gates of Vienna and Moscow. But when they lost the Islamic state and system in addition to forgetting their global responsibility, they are now resorting to seek refuge in the West; though, Allah (swt) has created the humans to believe in Him, live according to His message and establish the Deen of Allah (swt) on earth through an Islamic state (Khilafah / Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood.

It was with the fall of the Caliphate that our lands were partitioned, then occupied and colonized; heinous rulers and/or corrupt infidel systems were imposed over us; and finally our resources were plundered. There was no longer Dar-ul-Islam, a place where its citizens could feel the sense of safety and well-being. It was due to the occupation and colonization that made us go through protracted war, artificial poverty, and fatal divisions based on national borders. In the face of all these events, some struggled to fulfill their responsibility while others left the ground. Instead of striving for the awakening of the Islamic Ummah, securing freedom from colonization, ending the occupation, and establishing the Caliphate, they unfortunately regarded the Western culture and civilization as an ideal way of life. They considered the comfort and convenience as a blessing which made them rush towards the West knowing that going to the West and living among infidels would bring them dangerous consequences in this world and the Hereafter.

On the one hand, Muslim rulers in Islamic lands happen to deal over refugees as they intend to gain privileges from their Western masters; on the other hand, the Western governments and organizations behave savagely with the migrants. Though, they pretend to be advocating for human rights and humanity, they are seen using refugees as political tools – exploiting only the talents and young workforces as labor source for their own economic growth and production.

Therefore, it is the responsibility of the current rulers of Afghanistan to pay serious attention to the intellectual education of Muslims on the one hand, and provide people with shelter, food, clothing, and better conditions for security, education, and health in society on the other. So that citizens would not fall into temptation and there would be no opportunity for the enemy and infidel states to infiltrate and deceive the people with worldly promises chanted by the Westerners. Hence, we are truly in need of a righteous system and a comprehensive agenda to establish a stable and faithful society under whose umbrella we would emerge again as a victorious nation to move towards the world of infidels not as refugees but as conquerors and carriers of good (the call for Islam).
