Karzai Failed to Show the Embodiment of his Nation's Sovereignty
(Translated)

In recent speeches, Karzai has said that the West was responsible for fraud in the elections of 2009 and threatened to join the Taliban if the international community continued to pressure him. The conflict started after president Obama's visit to Kabul last month. Indeed, he has misguided the public opinions of Muslims in Afghanistan, acting like an independent president that wants independance from the West. However, he is the first and foremost puppet of the US and the West.

On Friday; the presidential office said, that Barack Obama wrote to thank him for his "warm hospitality" during his recent visit to Kabul and said that his government would "remain as the strategic partner of Afghanistan" but General Jones told to reporters that Mr. Obama had sent Mr. Karzai a "thank-you note", expressing gratitude to the Afghan leader merely for the dinner in Kabul. It was a diplomatic gesture. 

On Sunday; Gates told to CBS; "I think he sees himself as the embodiment of Afghan sovereignty. And so he is sensitive to public statements that he thinks are not just aimed him, but at Afghanistan."

Clinton and Gates, the two top ministers of the Obama administration, called Hamid Karzai "a reliable partner."  In a series of Robert Gates and Hilary Clinton joint appearances on American television CBS, both said that they understand the pressures on Hamid Karzai as a leader of a nation that has been a battleground for decades. They said the Afghan leader is on track to visit Washington next month, despite his recent complaints about foreign interference in his country.

Washington's ambassador to Kabul, Karl Eikenberry, said in a news conference in Kabul on Saturday; "We're friends, we're allies, we're partners and there is going to be points of time where we have disagreements and that's how it is between good friends".

The reaction of Taliban was articulated in a press statement by calling Karzai their Afghan brother.

All above statements confirm that Karzai is the one of most shameful darling puppet of Western colonialists. It shows that it was just a tactic to come further in the negotiations with the Taliban and to present Karzai as an independent leader to the war-torn and exhausted Afghan People, though every school child knows that Karzai cannot survive a single week if the US forces were not behind him. If he is really independent, let him rule without the Dollars of the West and without the occupying forces. No matter how many cocky statements he makes, he is not independent as long as he cannot defend himself with his own national military forces or as long as he cannot finance himself with his own means.
