On 30th September our dear Brother and a sincere Dawah carrier Mahmood died in a car accident on Kabul-Baghlan highway. Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Afghanistan prays to Allah (swt) for his forgiveness, to bless him in Janatul-Firdaus and give Sabr to his family.

Brother Mahmood was an active dawah carrier and was one of the founding members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Baghlan. He faced all sorts of problems and difficulties yet he stood firm and continued his struggle for the reestablishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah.

He was indeed a great asset in the Dawah in Afghanistan; indeed, we will miss his absence.

May Allah (swt) accept his good deeds and make his ranks high in the Jannah.

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ * الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّـهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ * أُولَـٰئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ

"And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return." They are those on whom are the Salawat (i.e. blessings, etc.) (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided-ones." [Al Baqara: 155-157]
