Accusation of the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir of their intention to carry out a coup to seize power in Russia is pure fabrication and intellectual bankruptcy!

On the 20th of June 2013 CE Russian Inter Fax agency reported, quoting the press center of the Russian Interior Ministry, "that security agents belonging to the Directorate of Home Ministry of the Interior in Michtschklei in Russia and the Caspian Sea have arrested three members of the international terrorist organization, the Islamic Hizb ut Tahrir." And that they are being prosecuted under the Criminal Code: Article 278: Seize or maintain power by force, and Article 282/2: Organization of extremist activities.

The media in Russia started a large-scale campaign accusing Hizb ut Tahrir of carrying out terrorist activities and that the Shabab of the Hizb, who are arrested in different regions of Russia, intend to seize power in Russia through violence and weapons and ammunition in their possession were secured.

And we in our role as Hizb ut Tahrir emphasize what we have said over and over again, and what the near and far have come to know, that Hizb ut Tahrir is a political party. It does not depend on material actions whatsoever in its methodology to achieve its goal, but it has relied on political activity since its establishment almost 60 years. We are of high confidence, beyond the slightest doubt, in our program and methodology, that because it is the methodology of the Prophet (saw) by which he established the first Islamic State and by which there will soon be the establishment of the second rightly guided Khilafah "Caliphate", inshaAllah. This of course not only on a regional level, but on an international level also. Therefore the attempts of some authorities and regimes to ascribe the accusation of terrorism to Hizb ut Tahrir are nothing but miserable attempts that do not undermine the party nor will they distort its ideas.

In this regard we wish to emphasize the following:

First: The methodology of the party for change is available to everyone within hand's reach. The morals of the Hizb, its ideas and its method to change are not secret or difficult to attain. On top of that the archives of criminal cases launched against the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir are full of irrefutable evidence of the correctness of what we say, also a great deal of the party's ethics and ideas found in the party's literature have been seized from the houses of the detained Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir. These books define precisely the method of the Hizb and the approaches it utilizes to reach its goal. Accordingly, the allegations about the existence of terrorist activities of the party are blatant lies and obvious fallacies that have nothing to do with reality.

Second: Hizb ut Tahrir's current project is based on the ideas of Islam that offers comprehensive solutions to the problems of man and society such as the economy, social issues, education, health care and other treatments for human problems.

Third: The Hizb has made clear that its work in Russia is limited to cultural activities and it is not intended by its work to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" in Russia.

Finally and based on what we have clarified, it is apparent to every sane person that the allegations against Hizb ut Tahrir are only lies and fallacies and evidence that Russia in its "greatness" has declared its bankruptcy, even its intellectual defeat before Hizb ut Tahrir, and whoever is intellectually defeated lashes out and knows only the language of terrorism, murder, imprisonment and torture!

(إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَنَ الْكَافِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ سَعِيرًا * خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا لاَّ يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلا نَصِيرًا)

"Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper." [TMQ 33: 64-5]
