The kafir colonialists and their agents, the lowly Ruwaybadah rulers of the Muslims, were shocked by what Operation Al-Aqsa Flood brought about, in terms of unifying the feelings of the Ummah with their people in the Blessed Land of Palestine. This came after the colonialists and their agents had worked hard, for more than a century, to consolidate division among the Muslims, and ensure their disintegration. They succeeded in doing so politically, as they divided the lands of Muslims into fifty-odd fragments. However, the colonialists and their agents were unable to separate the Muslims emotionally, despite the strenuous attempts they made, not only by igniting the fuse of Fitnah between their countries, and sometimes fighting each other in the name of patriotism, nationalism, regionalism and other lowly sentiments. However, all their sinful efforts failed. The Muslims continued to express feelings of unity, whenever the enemies harmed their brothers in the Ummah. Indeed, the Saying of the Messenger of Allah (saw) is embodied within the Muslims, «تَرَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَتَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَعَاطُفِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ، إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ جَسَدِهِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى» “You see the believers, with regards to their being merciful among themselves, showing love among themselves and being kind, resembling one single body. It is such that if any part of the body is ill, then the whole body shares the sleeplessness and fever with it.” [Al-Bukhari]

Regarding this noble characteristic of the Ummah, the kafir colonialists, along with rulers and ulema of the Muslims, considered, calculated and conspired over how to counter these Islamic sentiments, brought forth by the Islamic Deen, which unified Muslims and proved impervious to their conspiracies, despite their magnitude and malice. Recently, they were keen to attempt to divide Muslims regarding the third pillar of Islam which is Sawm (Shariah fasting). Thus, they ordered the ulema of the governments to issue a fatwa tailored to Trump and his party, contradicting the well-known Islamic consensus of the classical ulema. They issued a fatwa stating that the day of breaking the fast of Muslims must follow the Sykes-Picot nationalistic divisions, thus disregarding the strongest Islamic opinion, which requires following the unity in the horizons of moonsighting!

What confirms that this dispute is political, not religious, and that it is a conspiracy against Islam and the unity of Muslims, is that these regimes do not even rule according to Islam. Instead, they fight Islam and fight anyone who calls for the implementation of Islam, whether in Shairah transactions or Shariah ritual worships. For example, the rulers do not rule according to the Islamic economic system. Instead, they rule according to the capitalist economic system, imposing it on people. As for ritual worship, they do not impose Salah (Shariah prayer) and Siyyam (Shariah fasting) on Muslims, nor do they punish those who neglect them, in accordance to the Islamic Shariah Law. They do not collect Zakat from the rich to distribute Zakat to the poor. The same applies to all other Islamic Shariah rulings, which they do not implement or enforce.

However, when the rulers have an interest in dividing Muslims, they push the courtesan ulema to issue fatwas tailored to the needs of the rulers. Of course, the ulema of governments are always ready to issue fatwas that please the government. However, the ulema remain silent when the Ummah needs from them any fatwa to unify it, or to support its oppressed people in the Blessed Land of Palestine and elsewhere. Therefore, we must be wary of the ulema of the governments, accuse them in their Deen, and refrain from taking our Deen from them.The conspiracy of the regimes against the Islamic Shariah ritual worships (ibaadaat) is clear, and is most evident when these Shariah rituals conflict with their plans to divide the Islamic Ummah. This has been evident this year in some Arab countries, where they have made Muslims fast on the day of Eid, a day strictly forbidden (Haram) for fasting. This is even contrary to the opinions of their own ulema, who issued fatwas in previous years. For example, in Syria, Jordan, and Egypt, their respective Islamic jurisprudence assemblies have previously decided on the unity of the horizons for moon sighting. Conferences and seminars that discussed the adoption of astronomical calculations in determining Eid have also adopted the principle of unity in the horizons for moon sighting. These include the Islamic Research Complex at Al-Azhar in 1966, the famous Istanbul Conference in 1978, the Istanbul Conference in 2016, the Kuwait Conference in 1973, the European Council for Fatwa and Research in 2009, and the Muslim World League Conference in 2012.

This conspiracy is clearly evident in the Shariah violations committed by the agent regimes in South Asian and South East Asian countries, such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Malaysia. These countries contradict the rest of the Muslim countries, especially the Arab countries, almost every year, regarding the days of fasting and breaking the fast, and often even regarding the dates of Eid al-Adha. This confirms that they are fulfilling the role entrusted to them by the former British direct colonialism, from amongst the tasks the British left behind for them in these countries. They work to divide the Ummah, the jamaa’ah (community) of the Muslims, deluding Muslims at every opportunity into believing that they are not a single Ummah, despite the Words of Allah (swt),

[إِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ]

“Indeed, this, your community, is one community, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.” [TMQ Surah al-Anbiyyah 82]

This year during the month of Ramadan, the voices of the ulema fell silent, along with the voices of rulers and the raging of their armies, in the face of the Jewish entity’s resumption of its massacres in Gaza. They fell silent regarding the mobilization of the armies of Muslims in support of their people in Palestine. Their voices rose again only to divide Muslims on their Eid day. All of this confirms the necessity of overthrowing these regimes and rejecting the ulema of the governments that are subservient to them. This conspiracy confirms that these are the ones who untie, and continue to untie, the binding bonds of Islam, one by one, as stated in the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (saw), «لَيُنْقَضَنَّ عُرَى الْإِسْلَامِ عُرْوَةً عُرْوَةً، فَكُلَّمَا انْتَقَضَتْ عُرْوَةٌ تَشَبَّثَ النَّاسُ بِالَّتِي تَلِيهَا، وَأَوَّلُهُنَّ نَقْضاً الْحُكْمُ، وَآخِرُهُنَّ الصَّلَاةُ» “The bonds of Islam will be untied, one by one. Whenever one bond is untied, the people will cling to the next bond. The first of the bonds to be untied is the Shariah ruling, and the last of them is the Salah (Shariah prayer).” Narrated by Ahmad.

Therefore, the Ummah must realize that the root of the disease, and the root cause of the affliction afflicting the Muslims are these regimes, and behind them the kafir colonialists. It is incumbent upon every sincere believer, covetous of his Deen, to work diligently with Hizb ut Tahrir to overthrow the rulers and establish the Second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood upon the ruins of their thrones.
