Press Release
The Islamic Ummah Has No Need for Organizations like BRICS, G20, G7, G8, and Others to Manage its Affairs and Achieve its Interests
(Translated)

The BRICS foreign ministers' meeting, held Thursday and Friday in India, began with representatives from Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, and the UAE. Issues such as the imposed war on Iran in West Asia are among the most important topics to be discussed in the meeting. Iran called on India, which holds the BRICS presidency for 2026, to use BRICS as a platform to build consensus on condemning the actions of America and the Jewish entity in the conflict.

It is no longer a secret that the Islamic Ummah possesses the economic, military, and geopolitical capabilities to achieve independence from both the West and the East, and even to assume a leading role in the world if it so desired. Its current state of weakness, dependency, and hesitation stems from the decisions, inaction, and subservience of its rulers to the foreign colonizer, not from any inherent weakness or lack of resources.

The Islamic Ummah possesses wealth that makes it self-sufficient and independent of foreign aid. It has oil, gas, minerals, salts, and abundant fish, agricultural, and livestock resources. It also possesses a strategic geographical location, with straits, gulfs, waterways, and warm waters. Furthermore, it has armies numbering in the millions and weapons worth billions, sufficient to protect its interests and lands from any aggressor. Moreover, it abounds with scholars, intellectuals, and expertise needed to develop its lands and propel them to the ranks of the world's leading nations. Above all, it possesses a great ideology that qualifies it to lead and guide the world.

But what the Ummah lacks to attain its rightful place and make the decisions it needs is the political will. Its rulers have decided to be subservient to the West and the East, accepting a state of neither sovereignty nor decision-making power. They have misled the Ummah into believing it is weak and dependent on foreign powers, when in fact the Ummah is self-sufficient and does not need any international institutions or organizations, whether economic ones like BRICS, G20, G7, G8, or political ones like the United Nations. Indeed, independence from foreign powers, both Western and Eastern, is essential for protecting the Ummah and its interests. The kafir (disbelieving) colonizer lies in wait for us in every place and gathering, and it displeases him to see us prosperous, blessed, and free, even if he pretends otherwise, as Allah (swt) says:

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ بِطَانَةً مِّن دُونِكُمْ لاَ يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالاً وَدُّواْ مَا عَنِتُّمْ]

“O believers! Do not associate closely with others who would not miss a chance to harm you. Their only desire is to see you suffer…” [TMQ Aal-i-Imran: 118]. And His (swt) saying:

[مَّا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَلاَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ]

“The disbelievers from the People of the Book and the polytheists would not want you to receive any blessing from your Lord…” [TMQ Al-Baqarah: 105].

All the Ummah needs is to unite again to form the great power qualified to lead the world. We do not think that the rulers will allow this as long as they remain on their convictions and thrones. This requires the Ummah to move to remove them from their thrones and install one rightly-guided caliph who will restore its unity, strength and decision-making power. Allah (swt) says:

“Had the people of those societies been faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺, We would have overwhelmed them with blessings from heaven and earth. But they disbelieved, so We seized them for what they used to commit” [TMQ Al-A’raf: 96].
