In light of the last two days of political furor and media hysteria over a speech that was given on March 31, 2017 for the Friday prayer in Masjid Al-Faruq in Copenhagen, and since Hizb ut Tahrir has been mentioned in this context, we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Scandinaviawish to highlight the following points:

On Tuesday 4th of April, the media in general and TV drew attention in its program “Kalla Fakta” that the Al-Azhar School has separate seating places in its school bus for boys and girls, that a cafeteria in Tensta refers men and women to different sitting places and that there are “moral police” roaming in the suburbs. Danish top-politicians are completely devoid of morality. That is what can be concluded after having followed the development through the last couple of years, and the latest incidents from this week confirm this indecency.

Today, 14/03/2016, the Danish Minister of Integration, Inger Støjberg, wrote a Facebook-update, where she condemned a long line of imams and Hizb ut Tahrir, while she at the same time attacked Islam and Shariah. She made it completely clear, that if you do not abandon your Islamic values, then there is no room for you in this country.
