First Know Hizb ut Tahrir before Hurling False Accusations
(Translated)

Egyptian Ad-Dustour Newspaper, which is managed by Mr. Reda Edward, quoted on Sunday, February 15th, from the Indian Newspaper "The Economic Times" a misleading report about Hizb ut Tahrir, full of fallacies against the Hizb. And it seems that the Indian newspaper does not really know who is Hizb ut Tahrir, as it also seems that the fallacies promoted by the newspaper about the Hizb has appealed to those in charge of the Egyptian Ad-Dustour Newspaper. So they re-published it, to deepen this deception and contribute to the distortion of the Hizb which is known by the near and far it is a political party whose ideology is Islam and seeks to resume the Islamic way of life to establish an Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" following the method of the Prophet (saw) through intellectual and political struggle. It is also known that the Hizb does not adopt material acts and does not have an armed wing as falsely claimed by the Indian newspaper.

Even stranger than this, is that lie that everyone with acquaintance, even a simple one, of the Hizb and its method of work, can realize. As the paper is persisting in lying and deception, so it claims that the Hizb is training its cadres in chemical, bacteriological, and biological warfare. What a blatant lie; exposed by the party's history of struggle over more than sixty years of work in the Ummah and with it, and was not proven one day that it had performed any material act despite of what the Hizb has suffered of constraint, and what its Shabab have endured from prosecutions, arrests and harassment that reached to the point of murder in many of the countries in which the Hizb operates.

This is because the Hizb is committed in its work to pursue the method of the Prophet (saw), who some of his companions, may Allah be pleased with them, had come to him and there was among them the beaten and those with slashed heads telling him: give us permission to fight them, and he says to them: We have not been ordered to do that yet. Bukhari narrated in the Saheeh from Khabbab bin Al-Arat, may Allah be pleased with him, said: We complained to Allah's Apostle (of the persecution inflicted on us by the Kuffar) while he was sitting in the shade of the Kaa'ba, leaning on his Burda (i.e. covering sheet). We said to him, "Would you seek help for us? Would you pray to Allah for us?". He (saw) said,

«كَانَ الرَّجُلُ فِيمَنْ قَبْلَكُمْ يُحْفَرُ لَهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ، فَيُجْعَلُ فِيهِ، فَيُجَاءُ بِالْمِنْشَارِ فَيُوضَعُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ فَيُشَقُّ بِاثْنَتَيْنِ وَمَا يَصُدُّهُ ذَلِكَ عَنْ دِينِهِ، وَيُمْشَطُ بِأَمْشَاطِ الْحَدِيدِ مَا دُونَ لَحْمِهِ مِنْ عَظْمٍ أَوْ عَصَبٍ وَمَا يَصُدُّهُ ذَلِكَ عَنْ دِينِه،ِ وَاللَّهِ لَيُتِمَّنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ حَتَّى يَسِيرَ الرَّاكِبُ مِنْ صَنْعَاءَ إِلَى حَضْرَمَوْتَ لَا يَخَافُ إِلَّا اللَّهَ أَوْ الذِّئْبَ عَلَى غَنَمِهِ، وَلَكِنَّكُمْ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ»

"Among the nations before you a (believing) man would be put in a ditch that was dug for him, and a saw would be put over his head and he would be cut into two pieces; yet that (torture) would not make him give up his religion. His body would be combed with iron combs that would remove his flesh from the bones and nerves, yet that would not make him abandon his religion. By Allah, this religion (i.e. Islam) will prevail till a traveler from Sana (in Yemen) to Hadrarmaut will fear none but Allah, or a wolf as regards his sheep, but you (people) are hasty."

In the second pledge of Aqaba, Abbas bin Obadah, brother of Bani Salim said, O Messenger of Allah, I swear by the one who sent you with the truth, if you order us to use swords against the people of Mina, we will do it. He (saw) said:

«إنا لم نؤمر بذلك»

"We have not been ordered to do that yet". The Prophet (saw) remained in Makkah for thirteen years calling to Allah, with his companions, and did not carry a sword or fight anyone until he migrated to al-Madinah al-Munawarrah and established the Islamic state there. And we are in our work following the method of RasulAllah (saw), until Allah grants us the people of Nusrah, the people of power and support, to enable Islam in its state, the Khilafah "Caliphate" State on the method of the Prophethood. Thus the method of the Hizb is to create public opinion emanating from general awareness on Islam and requesting the Nusrah from the people of the power to implement Islam in real life; it does not carry weapon to achieve its goal. Evidence is on whom he claimed, so we ask the Indian newspaper and Ad-Dastour Newspaper that quoted it without scrutiny or audit, where is the evidence for this claim? Is it then said that Hizb ut Tahrir has a military wing?! The one who claims this is either ignorant of Hizb ut Tahrir; and to this we say first learn of Hizb ut Tahrir before hurling it with false accusations, or he is a misleader, and this does not benefit him words or statement for his intention is cunning and his fate, Allah willing, to ruin.

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا إِنْ جَاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَأٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَنْ تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ]

"O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful". [Al-Hujurat: 6]
