Call from Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia
Indonesia Belongs to Allah, so Let's Implement His Laws! Welcome O Ramadan!
(Translated)

Welcome O Ramadan! Ramadan 1435 AH will come after a few days. The month of goodness and blessing, therein a night better than a thousand months. Ramadan is a month in which Allah made fasting during the day an obligation, and standing in prayers at night a recommended worship. Whoever does an obligation (Fard) in Ramadan is like doing seventy obligations in other months, and whoever does a recommended act, is like doing an obligation (Fard) in other months.

Allah made its beginning is mercy, its middle is forgiveness and its end is redemption from the torments of hell fire. Whoever fasts with faith and seeking his reward from Allah, Allah will forgive his sins, and will free him from fire. The month of Ramadan is the month of obedience and self-control, wherein Muslims abstain from eating and from whatever will break their fast, bearing the hardship of hunger and thirst in obedience to Allah Almighty. Thus Taqwa (piety) is the goal to be achieved in this blessed month. The manifestation of individual Taqwa is in the compliance to Allah's commands and the avoidance of His prohibitions, while the manifestation of collective Taqwa is in the implementation of Sharia in all aspects of life under the shade of the Khilafah "Caliphate". All the good deeds carried out by the Muslims during the blessed month of Ramadan remain incomplete, if they are not followed by the implementation of Sharia completely, because that is the true manifestation of Taqwa.
On the occasion of Ramadan 1435 AH, Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia directs the call:

1- To all Muslims in Indonesia to perfect their fasting in the month of Ramadan and to fast it with faith seeking the reward from Allah alone, with reflection and remembrance to realize the wisdom of fasting. The month of Ramadan is the month of jihad, with the conditions of Muslims, especially in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Palestine, Burma, and other Muslim countries are still painful. This prompts us to hold the rulings of Shariah, to carry out enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, and work to resume the Islamic way of life by establishing the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate". By doing so the glory of Islam and Muslims and the mercy of Islam to the worlds are achieved.

2- And to the Government of Indonesia to protect the interests of people and their affairs, especially the social and economic ones, which are still tough so Muslims can complete their fast and perform it in the best required manner. The Government must as well close all the places of sins, including nightclubs, which offend the feelings of Muslims and raise their resentment. Similarly it must fight all sins, such as embezzlement, adultery, and injustice, and so on. It is also necessary to end the state of inaction and failure to comply with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (saw). All this must be not just in Ramadan but also in all other months, because sins and their places are not permissible according to Shariah to be in Muslims countries, especially in Indonesia, the most populous Muslims country.

"And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth" [Al-A'raf : 96],

Allah willing.
