Western Invasion to Libya

Again, with the reason to implementation of UN Resolution, a number of Western Countries led by U.S Military Force invade a Muslim country, Libya. According to them, this invasion is very urgent to prevent the assassination of President Khaddafi towards his people - who are holding him back from his position that has been held more than 42 years.

 What happened in Libya, also in many other Muslim countries like Iraq and Afghanistan, shows very clearly how Muslims with large population (more than 1.5 billion) and called clearly in Holy Quran as khayru umma, today weak and helpless. Western countries freely destroy Muslim countries for their interest. While the life of a Muslim who is very valuable indeed, look so cheap.

For this, Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia:

• 1. Condemns and reject the Western Military invasion. Stop this illegal and barbaric act!

• 2. Demand for cessation of military invasion does not mean an endorsement of President Khaddafi. Khaddafi is ruthless dictator, he must be down or forced down by his people to stop his cruelty.

• 3. Calls upon the leaders of Muslim countries to take effective action to stop the military invasion, as well as stop Khaddafi's heinous acts, slaughter of his people.

• 4. Calls upon all Muslims to work earnestly for the re-establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate" Islamiyah because this is the only way to realize the Muslims khayru ummah. And this is the only way to actualize Islam rahmatan lil alamin through the implementation of Islamic sharia completely. Without Khilafah "Caliphate", people will continuously suffer. Muslim countries are now led by puppet rulers. They serve the interests of their masters in the West otherwise they are ruthless dictators who led their people with an iron fist.
