Obituary of a Dawah Carrier from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir

[مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ

وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلاً]

“Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah.1 Some of them have fulfilled their pledge ˹with their lives˺, others are waiting ˹their turn˺. They have never changed ˹their commitment˺ in the least.’ [TMQ Al-Ahzab 23]

 With patient and steadfast hearts, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Iraq mourns the dawah carrier, one of its righteous, pure and pious Shabab, and we do not praise anyone before Allah (swt), the honourable brother:

Tahseen Al-Hayyani (Abu Ali)

who returned to the mercy of Allah the Almighty on Thursday night; 5th of Safar 1444 AH, corresponding to 1/9/2022 CE, who spent his life calling on his companions, neighbors, clan and people of his town to change the corrupt reality and work to support Islam, by establishing the Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood, especially after the occupation of Iraq, he spent his effort and wealth in calling to Allah (swt), and did not hesitate to do an act that would bring him closer to Allah (swt), whether it was worship, dawah, or seeking support for His sake, Glory be to Him. And whoever lived with the deceased, he knew him as an educator who loved people and was friendly, seeking to meet their needs, he struggled with illness and was patient and seeking the reward, until he passed away.

The eye sheds tears, the heart grieves, and we are saddened by your separation, our Brother Hazem, and we only say what pleases our Lord:

[إنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

“Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return” [TMQ Al-Baqarah: 156].
