Hizb ut Tahrir Pays the Price for Advocating the Issues of the Ummah and Calling on its Armies to Support the People of Gaza

On Friday, January 19, 2024, Britain officially banned Hizb ut Tahrir, accusing it of anti-Semitism and endorsing the attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023, against the Jewish entity. It added the Hizb to its list of organizations classified as terrorist organizations.

This accusation is a lie and deception. Hizb ut Tahrir's stand in support of Muslims facing the worst humanitarian crimes in Gaza has no connection to anti-Semitism. Similarly, its support for the Rohingya and Uighur Muslims in Myanmar and East Turkestan, who have faced genocide, is unrelated to anti-Buddhism.

After nearly forty years of existence in Britain, James Cleverly, the Home Secretary in Rishi Sunak's government, decides today that it is a terrorist organization! It is noteworthy that Britain, like the rest of the world, recognizes that Hizb ut Tahrir is a political party with Islamic principles. Its political work does not endorse violent actions, adhering to Sharia rulings in this matter.

The truth is that Hizb ut Tahrir's call for Muslim armies to support their oppressed brothers in Gaza has shaken the foundations of the Zionist entity and its Western supporters. They fully realize that such an event signals the end of the Jewish entity and the end of Western dominance over Muslim lands.

O Muslims, this is the West that has shattered our heads with its claims of democracy, freedom of opinion, and human rights. All these slogans evaporate when it comes to Islam and Muslims. The word of truth disturbs them and troubles their minds. The masks they try to propagate in Muslim countries have fallen, revealing their criminal reality and their alignment with the criminal who unleashes his wrath on the vulnerable, including women, children, and elders, from the resilient people of Gaza.

Let Britain and the entire world know that Hizb ut Tahrir will not be deterred from its duty, undertaken in response to the command of Allah, by bans, prohibitions, or terrorist classifications. This will only increase its confidence that it is on the right path and the straight path.

O Muslim Ummah and people of strength and resilience, is it not time for you to realize the fear and terror of your enemy at your return to your Deen and the method of your Allah? Is it not time for you to be serious about working to revive Islamic life with sincere workers for the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood? You see that the Zionists and the disbelieving West have bared their fangs, and their hatred is evident. They have gathered, putting aside their differences, and are struggling against what has become a nightmare for them. We call upon you, O Muslims, to be supporters of Allah as your predecessors were, to bring people out of darkness into light, from the worship of humans to the worship of the Lord of humanity. Be confident in Allah's promise and His support for the believers in the triumph of this world and the happiness of the Hereafter.

[وَعَدَ اللهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْناً يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئاً وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ]

“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient.” [An-Nur:55]
