While Iraq’s politicians and their blocs are vying for positions, events are unfolding that prove once again that this country is not only devoid of sovereignty, but that its decisions, land, and airspace are openly violated by anyone and everyone. American orders are issued openly and without concealment regarding the formation of the government. Iranian interference through the commander of the Iranian Quds Force and his frequent visits is also public and unhidden. Another issue was the revelation by the New York Times of the existence of the Jewish entity’s two military bases during the American war on Iran: one in Al-Nukhaib Desert and the other in the western desert.

It is no secret that establishing bases of this scale cannot be accomplished in a short period; rather, it is the product of long and meticulous planning. Furthermore, their discovery was not the result of intelligence efforts, but rather a matter of chance. Following their discovery, we saw and heard no action proportionate to the gravity of the situation; instead, we witnessed justifications, skepticism, and attempts to downplay the issue!

This demonstrates that Iraq is unworthy of being called a state, and that all the blocs and parties involved in the political process are unworthy of being called politicians. They are nothing more than mercenary thieves concerned only with their own interests and the interests of their masters.

O Muslims, O sons of the best Ummah: The situation has become dire, corruption has spread on land and sea, and you are living in hardship. All of this is due to your turning away from Allah's Shariah, the absence of your authority, and the fragmentation of your state. Your enemy has thus gained power over you, inflicting upon you the worst forms of torment through killing, displacement, and the violation of what is sacred.

It is incumbent upon the sons of an Ummah whose ancestors led the world and offered martyrs to spread light and guidance to humanity to return to their Deen and the source of their glory by working diligently to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood—a state of honour and sovereignty, light and guidance—so that they may be the best successors to the best predecessors.

For this great duty and lofty honour, Hizb ut Tahrir calls upon you. Be supporters of Allah as the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (saw) were, who embraced Islam with their hearts and limbs, and set the highest example of giving, sacrifice, and selflessness, so that you may attain happiness in both worlds and the pleasure of Allah the Greatest.
