Obituary of a Dawah Carrier

[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلاً]

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration” [Al-Ahzab:23].

With belief in the Qada’a of Allah (swt), and seeking His reward, the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Jordan mourns the Dawah carrier within its ranks:

Ustaadh Faisal Sharif Abdul Qadir Abdul Jawad (Abu Ashraf)

Who passed away yesterday, Thursday, at the age of seventy. He was one of the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, who spent his years carrying the Dawah, working for the resumption of Islamic life through the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.

He had always been active in proclaiming the truth since his youth, not fearing the blame of the blamer in Allah’s cause, despite facing persecution, imprisonment, and harassment, ending with illness, which did not hinder his steadfastness and earnestness in speaking the truth.

We ask Allah, the Almighty, to have mercy on him, forgive him, and gather him with the Prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs, and the righteous in the highest Paradise. What excellent companions they are! We ask Allah, Subhanahu, to grant his family patience and steadfastness, to enhance their consolation, and to reward them for their calamity.

[إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” [Al-Baqara:156]
