If the King Was Serious in His Warning Against the Jewish Entity, the Practical Course of Action Would be to Adopt a State of War Against It
(Translated)

The following was stated in King Abdullah II’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly on 22/9/2026:

- The ‘Israeli’ government's policy in the West Bank is forced displacement and a war crime.

- What is happening in Gaza is an attempt to erase the Palestinian presence and impose a new reality.

- The expansionist ambitions of the ‘Israeli’ government have become a regional threat.

- What is currently happening throughout the West Bank is part of one policy, and there is a clear term to describe this policy: forced displacement, which is a war crime.

- For Jordan, the matter is as clear as the sun: any threat to our northern borders or our water security is a threat to our national security.

These characterizations of the conflict with the Jewish entity—its criminality in Gaza and the West Bank since their occupation, and its expansionist attempts and attacks on Syria, Lebanon, and elsewhere—do not necessarily make the situation any clearer to the people of Jordan or Muslims at large simply because they were voiced by the King. Unless, of course, this is an attempt to appeal to Muslim sentiments by articulating the emotions stirring within them—accompanied by body language conveying a hint of anger—to align with the overwhelming public rejection and resentment toward the waves of loathsome diplomacy; a diplomacy that serves as the regime's sole weapon, never transcending mere expressions of disapproval and condemnation, or the act of bemoaning the situation on the platforms of the international order, whether major or minor.

The remarks made raise questions and express objections that find their own contradictory answers within the very words spoken: If Jordanian diplomacy has failed to make the world and the international system listen—yielding no results over the years—then one must ask: if international law can be ignored for decades, what value does it retain? And how can we enforce it if we do not even acknowledge its violations? When it comes to ‘Israel,’ resolutions remain exactly where they began: mere ink on paper. After all this, is there any remaining excuse for the regime to persist on this futile path?

The expansionist ambitions and aggressions of the Jewish entity—dating back to its inception and its killing and displacement of the people of Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria—are nothing new; they have persisted both before and after the humiliating agreements concluded with it.

Meanwhile, security and military coordination between this entity and the Arab states that have normalized relations with it continues in full swing. What does this signify, if not a dereliction of duty and subservience to the schemes of American and European colonialist powers, alongside continued support for this illegitimate, alien entity? If the regime in Jordan fails to perceive the danger of displacement, the aggressions of the Jewish entity, and the undermining of the "two-state solution"—a solution it has described as gradually vanishing from the map since the Oslo Accords to the point of near-extinction—then upon what is it pinning its hopes? It persists in advocating for that treacherous two-state solution, which entails recognizing the Jewish entity and stripping the people of Palestine of their rights.

The speech asserts that the policy of the Jewish government in the West Bank amounts to forced displacement and a war crime, and that what is occurring in Gaza is an attempt to erase the Palestinian presence and impose a new reality. As for Jordan, the matter is crystal clear: any threat to our northern borders or our water security is a threat to our national security. Jordan will not look away; rather, we will safeguard our security, our water, and the interests of our people. The situation, as described, seriously demands a state-of-war footing: severing all security, military, and economic ties; annulling agreements of humiliation and shame; and mobilizing all military and security capabilities to put an end to the Jews and eliminate their entity from existence. After all, who was it that declared at the Riyadh Summit: "We do not want words; we want serious stances"?!

Netanyahu’s arrogance reached its peak when he addressed Arab rulers from Mount Hermon, declaring that his entity controls the entire region—including Syria, Lebanon, and northern Jordan. His aggression in Gaza and the West Bank has escalated to new extremes through intensified settler attacks and the expansion of settlements, aimed at further constricting the local population and forcing them to emigrate. This entity cannot be dealt with through dialogue, the measures of international institutions, integration into its Arab-Muslim surroundings, or the betrayals of normalization. Rather, the practical and legitimate solution is to uproot it and rid the Ummah of its evils; the surrounding Islamic nations—whether acting collectively or even individually—are capable of achieving this within a single hour of the day, by the permission of Allah.

[وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ]

“Fight in the cause of Allah ˹only˺ against those who wage war against you, but do not exceed the limits. Allah does not like transgressors” [Al-Baqara 2:190].
