On her second visit of its kind, Morgan Ortagus, the Deputy US Envoy for Middle East Affairs, visited Lebanon, at a time when blatant and brazen Jewish attacks against people and stones continue!

Morgan Ortagus’ appointment was commented on by the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz, as “Ortagus' appointment is likely to delight the ‘pro-Israel’ establishment, from whom Ortagus has been a long-time favorite…”

In this visit, she demonstrated her brazen interference in every aspect of Lebanon's political, economic, and military affairs, as expressed by the wide-ranging visits from the President of the Republic to the Prime Minister, the Speaker of Parliament, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, several ministers, and heads of parliamentary blocs. She appeared not only as a deputy for Middle East affairs, but as a high commissioner for American hegemony over Lebanon, its government, and its entity!

Ortagus' provocative media statements revealed the nature of this visit and its contents, which are unacceptable to even the smallest state claiming sovereignty! These included discussing what she called "Lebanese attacks on ‘Israel’," and mentioning the two primitive missiles recently launched from the south, completely ignoring and disregarding the bombing, killing, displacement, and destruction carried out by the criminal Jewish entity in Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria. She even brazenly defended it, claiming that it had the right to respond and that the US administration would not pressure it to stop its aggression despite the bloodshed of children, women, and civilians. Ortagus also emphasized the US administration's desire to restrict arms to the Lebanese army, forgetting her own country's open coffers to support the Jewish entity with the most modern and destructive weapons that were and continue to be used in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria! She then expressed US tendencies related to preventing corruption, forgetting that its interference in the affairs of another country is the very definition of corruption!

While we condemn this provocative audacity against Lebanon and a violation of the dignity and sovereignty of its people, we condemn more the Lebanese leadership's warm welcome of her, the opening of files and doors to her as if she were the ruler of the country, and then the praise of meetings with her and the shameless adoption of her shameless directives! This is when she enters to meet the leadership's officials wearing the Star of David, the emblem of their enemy, and furthermore defends the criminality of their usurping entity!

By following the approach of adopting the directives of such an envoy, the Lebanese leadership is on the path to normalization with the pariah Jewish entity. Were it not for the widespread opposition from all Muslims, it would have proceeded with this humiliating normalization, despite the continued Jewish occupation of part of Lebanon. It merely denounces and does not mobilize an army to liberate its occupied land!

We realize that this authority has no standing against America, nor even against its regional minions who delegate Lebanese affairs to it. It is they who openly appoint the men of this authority, even interfering in the appointment of the most junior minister!

Since the fall of our state—the Khilafah (Caliphate)—and the fragmentation of our lands, we have lived under an occupation disguised as corrupt nationalistic and feeble, cardboard-like entities that have brought us woes. There is no true salvation for us until we reclaim our state, unite under its shadow, govern according to the law of our Lord, and implement the policies that serve our interests and please our Lord. Then, there will be no room for our enemies to interfere in our affairs.
