On 1st February the Raheel-Nawaz regime's Information Minister claimed in a press conference that the government has breathed a new soul in the economy. He tried to prove his assertion with various statistics, all unconvincing. The bullish trend in stock market, increase in foreign investment and foreign reserves and the drop in oil prices was presented as the outcome of the regime's successful economic policies.

Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Pakistan held demonstrations across Pakistan against the publication of cartoons in the French magazine, Charlie Hebdo, attacking the honor of RasulAllah (saaw) and the support provided by French government to this heinous act. Participants held placards declaring "O Pak Army! Avenge RasulAllah (saaw), Close French Embassy and Expel French Ambassador" and "Mobilize Armies in Jihad, In Honour of RasulAllah (saaw)".

The Muslims of Pakistan are enraged as the hateful Western crusaders exploited the attack on Charlie Hebdo Magazine offices to republish cartoons ridiculing the honored RasulAllah (saw). As for the rulers, they have again neglected their duty, despite commanding a powerful and Islam loving armed forces they are busy in receiving medals and guard of honors

Hizb ut Tahrir condemns the regime of treachery in its dealing with India. The Adviser to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said on 12 January in an interview with the Dawn News program ‘Faisla Awam Ka,' that India is using Afghan soil to carry out attacks on Pakistan. However, in the same interview, Sartaj Aziz called for increased normalization of ties with India.
