How is it Right for Muslims to Struggle for Democracy, a System of Corruption and Kufr?

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan strongly condemns the violent and building clashes between the ruling PML-Nawaz Sharif party and Imran Khan's PTI and asks how is it acceptable for Muslims to fight for Democracy? On the one hand PTI declares that their struggle is for real change and restoration of true democracy. Whilst on the other hand government asserts that PTI struggle is anti-democracy and is trying to save democracy. It is a fact that Muslims of Pakistan do not care for democracy and the dominant opinion is for Islam and its state. This fact is well known to the ruling political and military elite and that is why they always used the name of Islam in order to draw the support of people. Some named socialism as Islamic socialism, 1977’s anti-government struggle was named “Movement for the System of Mustafa (saaw)” and Zia used the term of Islamicization. And today the rulers and opposition cite the example of Shura during the time of the Khilafah "Caliphate" to justify Democracy and the difference between the two is like night and day. None of them ever had the courage to declare that we are solely working for socialism, capitalism or democracy, because they know that the feelings of the Muslims of Pakistan only incited on the basis of Islam. How can Pakistan Muslim League (PML) struggle for Democracy, when it is upon a Muslim to ensure that all his affairs, personal and societal, are in accordance to Quran and Sunnah? And how can Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (Pakistan Justice Movement) hope to seek justice through a system of Democracy that allows a select elite to usurp the lion-share of a country's wealth wherever it is implemented?

In Islam, rulings on Salah, Sawm, Haj, Zakah, marriage and divorce, war, economy, education, media are unique and distinct from any other Deen and we are obliged to practice them alone. Similarly Islam’s ruling system is the Khilafah "Caliphate" which is unique and distinct from any other ruling system and it is an obligation on Muslims to implement it exclusively. Democracy declares man as sovereign who can make laws according to his whims and desires. However, in the Khilafah "Caliphate" the laws must be in accordance with all that Allah (swt) has revealed. That is why no Democratic party ever says that we will end Riba (interest), intoxicants, privatization of energy and mineral resources, obscenity and end friendship with the enemies of Islam and Muslims, the America and West. That is also why no Democratic party will ever call our armed forces to mobilize in an organized Jihad to liberate occupied Muslim Land, whether Kashmir, Afghanistan or Palestine, or work to end the borders between Muslim states that have divided them into around sixty states, when they must be one state under one Khaleefah. This is even through Allah swt says,

[وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلاَ مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْراً أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلاَلاً مُّبِيناً]

“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.” [Al-Ahzab: 36]. Is it not high time that all those who are seeking to please their Lord (swt) and establish the Justice that His Deen secures to struggle and sacrifice for the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood?
