During Ramadhan, Pakistan's Rulers Reply to the Call for Ruling by All that Allah (swt) Revealed with Enforced Disappearance!

In the blessed month of Ramadhan, even though the gates of Hell are locked up and the shayateen are chained, Pakistan's rulers made a clear display of their own persistent, defiant evil, by unleashing oppression upon a fasting Muslim who simply called for the ruling by the Book of Allah (swt). In Islamabad, on Friday 18th May 2018, after Jummah prayers, on the second day of Ramadhan 1439, the thugs of the regime seized Engineer Waqas, for merely distributing a leaflet entitled, "This Ramadhan, Let us Strive for Ruling by All that Allah (swt) Has Revealed." Engineer Waqas remains missing, with not a single, consoling word of his whereabouts or well-being reaching the ears of his devoted mother, an elderly, frail widow. Engineer Waqas was accorded this deplorable treatment for peacefully calling the rulers to task, even though RasulAllah (saaw) said,

«أَفْضَلَ الْجِهَادِ كَلِمَةُ حَقٍّ عِنْدَ سُلْطَانٍ جَائِرٍ»

“The best Jihad is the word of justice to an oppressive ruler.” [Abu Dawud].

Instead of hearing and heeding to words of justice, the tyrannical rulers are making an example of Waqas, depriving him of his right to undertake honest work to support his dependent mother, even though he undertook his Islamic duty, mindful of the saying of RasulAllah (saaw),

«أَلَا لَا يَمْنَعَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ رَهْبَةُ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَقُولَ بِحَقٍّ إِذَا رَآهُ أَوْ شَهِدَهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُقَرِّبُ مِنْ أَجَلٍ وَلَا يُبَاعِدُ مِنْ رِزْقٍ»

“Do not fear the people from speaking the Truth, when it is witnessed or seen, for it will neither shorten the life span nor cause loss in Rizq.” [Ahmad]

O Muslims of Pakistan in General and those of Pakistan’s Judiciary and Security Institutions in Particular! It is clear that the rulers of Pakistan are defiant of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw) to the highest of degrees.

Not only are they criminally negligent in their duty to rule by all that Allah (swt) has revealed, they create fear amongst us, so that we would fail in our duty to account them for their corruption and the bad care of the people of Pakistan. These rulers deserve no regard or loyalty from anyone of us, for Allah (swt) warned us that those who obey the tyrants will surely regret sharing in the punishment that they deserve. Allah (swt) said,

(وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا)

“And they will say: Our Lord! Verily we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way” [Surah Al-Ahzab 33:67]. Let us not imperil our eternal Aakhira for this short, fleeting Dunya, by obeying their orders or succumbing to their pressures. It is upon the security personnel to ignore their sinful orders to seize the advocates of the Khilafah (Caliphate), mindful of the Hadeeth Qudsi,

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَنْتُهُ بِالْحَرْبِ»

“The Messenger of Allah (saaw) said that Allah said, whomever harm my Wali I will declare a war against him ...” (Bukhari). And it is upon the judiciary to ignore the rulers’ unjust pressures to punish the advocates of the Khilafah, mindful of the hadith,

«الْقُضَاةُ ثَلَاثَةٌ: وَاحِدٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَاثْنَانِ فِي النَّارِ، فَأَمَّا الَّذِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَجُلٌ عَرَفَ الْحَقَّ فَقَضَى بِهِ، وَرَجُلٌ عَرَفَ الْحَقَّ فَجَارَ فِي الْحُكْمِ، فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ، وَرَجُلٌ قَضَى لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى جَهْلٍ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ»

“The judges are of three types: one is in heaven, the other is in fire. As for the one who is Jannah, he is the man who knows the truth and judges by it, whereas the one who knows the truth and aggrieves it in judgment, he is in fire. And the man who judges for the people on ignorance is also in fire.” [Abu Dawud]. Let not one of us ruin our eternal Aakhira for the sake of oppressive rulers, whose time draws near to its end, for indeed, the tyrant is seized by Allah (swt) at the height of his tyranny.
